Thanks Tech-Banker.
I upgraded to the latest version.
I still can’t figure out how to fix it though.
What I would like is to see in my e-mail client’s overview immediately who the sender of the message is.
Now it just shows me all the messages are send by the value that I filled in in the ‘from’ section. So it looks like all the e-mails are send from the same sender.Kind of hard to explain but I hope you understand what I mean.
After I click on an e-mail it shows me the correct name and e-mail address. However, in the overview of all my e-mails, it says the same name for all of them.
What can I do to change this?
Thanks!Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Non-www version is horrible slow. Www version is fineHi Matthew,
Thanks.
The problem is not that the page doesn’t load on the non www version, but that it loads very slowly. When I check the Pagespeed with the Google Pagespeed Insights, it shows that the non www version has a very long server response time.
However, the www version does not do that and scores great on Pagespeed. So why does the non www version takes longer to load?

In reply to: Help my database is offline (and thus my website unavailable!)I found out what the problem is.
My own IP address is blocked… I can’t view the website on any computer here while on the same internet signal, but I can view the website on my phone (3G internet) and when I use an IP-changer.
Did WordPress or my webhosting service marked me as a spammer or something? Any way to undo this?

In reply to: Help my database is offline (and thus my website unavailable!)Thangs WPyogi.
I already sent them an email but they are not in the office until monday.
Thanks guys. I did. In the meanwhile I started building it once again…
So my content, texts and everything are not stored on the website’s server in the www. folder?
That is strange to me. I do have most images left there and thousands of files…
Thanks Ramesh.
Unfortunately, I did not download the backup of the database. I thought that all necesarry files would be placed in the www. folder and downloaded them with Filezilla.
What exactly is stored in the database?
Thanks. No I don’t… I have just downloaded all the files in the www folder with an FTP client. Then stupid me has discontinued the old domain and this includes the old mysql database.
I do however have a new domain with the same hosting agency and created a new mysql database. Maybe things are pretty similar, but of course name and password have changed.
