Hello,
I did not resolve my problem of exporting the NextGen Gallery, but I have rebuilt my website and abandoned the https://www.stainsbyte.dreamhosters.com site.
I am happy to close this issue, as unresolved.

With help from an IT professional this problem has been solved. I will describe the fix for others who may have a similar experience.
The problem was caused when my provider (HostSailor) decided to implement a firewall. Unfortunately I was editing my website at the time.
The SQL error log was reporting… (multiple times)

170730 5:30:01 [ERROR] /usr/libexec/mysqld: Table ‘./admin_stainsbyte/wp_postmeta’ is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed

I checked the database and the table wp_postmeta was empty.
We searched StackOverflow and found the following solution:

The first solution didn’t work, but the second solution described at this page reinstated the index for wp_postmeta table and fixed the problem.

For the moment I have applied your suggested settings, but we may want to go back and change the Child Theme as you suggested.

If necessary we will make your coding changes – need to check with the owner of the site.

Thank you this has worked. I am experiencing further problems relating to the author line and the footer, which I will post separately.

I have just installed the update of MapPress Easy Google Maps v2.40.5 and I have my maps back. Thank you.

Hello everybody,

I also have the problem reported by chruezoo. I am using the twentyten theme, but also tried the new twentythirteen theme.

I am using MapPress on pages (not posts). Deactivating NextGen will allow the maps to display.

The only other plugins I am using are Akismet v2.5.9 and WordPress Importer v0.6.1. WordPress, Themes and Plugins are all up to date.
