In reply to: Need guidance installing WP2.3 Related PostsI’ll bite on that one, since I have a similar question.
I only want my related posts in single post view (though it would be nice to know where to put it if I want it on the main page, since I might change my mind at some point). Like santqiu, I’d like it to sit between the post and the comments.
For my part, I use Tukulr with modified css. You can see my blog here.
Looking at the theme, there doesn’t seem to be a separate template file for my theme.
Thanks moshu (and anyone who answers),

In reply to: Wasabi Plugin created database error/broken blogWell, my blog seems to have come back online – which has thrilled my little heart to no end.
Can someone tell me why it was down for 20 minutes? Did it just take that long to run the query on my database?
This is clearly something I understand little about.
Cheers,
bThanks Ivovic,
Luckily, my theme doesn’t have any .post a styles, so just working with the specific entry class works.
Looking at the php files wasn’t terribly instructive for me, though I’m going to take another crack at it when I’m less tired.
At least for now, my issue is resolved. Editing the style of the entry class allows me do what I want in the posts, leaving the tags and categories under the global a styles.
Thanks!

In reply to: Make Categories Not Bold? This topic might be able to help you out.
HandySolo,
I presume that worked for ainhoa711 because it’s (in theory) working for me. For me, I want to be able to change entry links, categories, and tags all of which are currently affected by global a styles.
Changing the ‘entry’ class does what I want in posts, but still leaves my tags and cats attached to each other.
What are the class names for categories and tags? I’ve tried .tag, .tags, and .category with no luck. (Also, for future reference, in what file would I look for answers like these?).
And I’m using Tukulr as my base (since I’m still tinkering, it’s not on my site yet).
Thanks!

In reply to: Blog Stats Won’t Recognize PasswordThanks, Trent, that worked.
I’d actually tried all three and even reset the password(s) more than once, but maybe pausing and breathing is what helped. Anyway, thanks for your help.

In reply to: Comments not posting – blank wp-comments-post.phpThanks for the help, Jean-Luke. This put me on the right path to solving my own problem as well. I set up my host to take out the www in front of my site, and assumed that it would do it as well for wordpress. Not so much the case. I just took out the www on the options page and it worked.
I’ve been fiddling with php all weekend and all it took was a visit to the options page.
Thanks!

In reply to: Second blog-page doesn’t loadHey,
I don’t know if this is your problem, but I was having something similar and it fixed it.
Until my comments broke in an entirely different way.

In reply to: Problems with WordPress 2.1…writing a new postChecking a different post, I tried turning off the visual editor.
That seems to have done the trick for now. I’d like to use the visual editor, though. Any thoughts?

In reply to: Problems with WordPress 2.1…writing a new postI am having similar problems of a different nature.
Clearing the cache in Firefox brought up my buttons, but I can’t switch to the ‘code’ tab when writing. I’m not getting any error messages in Firefox, but posting only saves the titles, not the content of the posts.
Rendering in IE brings up some debugging prompts, while attempting to post in real IE won’t let me click in the post field at all. Again, I can enter a title.

In reply to: Comments Don’t PostAnd, joy of joys, my blog no longer renders properly in IE. I updated the other pages of my site last week, but don’t see why that would have changed anything to do with the blog.
And I gave a dead link to my blog before. Sorry about that.
Is the IE issue something separate? Everytime I think I’ve got this stuff remotely figured out, I get thrown a curveball.
Thanks,

In reply to: Comments, Archive, Next Page All BrokenThanks!
I have no idea why that worked, as I haven’t changed my permalink structure since I set up the blog over a month ago, but it fixed the probelm!
Thanks again!
