In reply to: Using 2 domain names on one WP installationIn fact the only solution seems to be real-time mirroring so that the 2 websites have exactly the same content at the (quite) same time. Mirroring in both sides, especially for comments and stats. Seems to be 95% SQL job in fact…
Hello, thank you! But we prefer run independent scripts on another server for stats, that concern a few “big” sites.
There is something I don’t understand: for example for June 10th, on a smaller site:
SELECT COUNT(*) from wp_independent_analytics_views WHERE viewed_at LIKE ‘%2024-06-10%’
SQL routine returns 16162 but dashboard shows 16444.
Same for all dates, on various sites.
Where does this difference come from ?
Thank you !
Hello; any update ? ??
Hello,
Avatar is uploaded by the user, from his own control panel in the profile section, “avatar” sub-section.
Well ok, fixed by deleting the opcache files. Sorry for not having tried before, I just wiped the WP cache but didn’t think about the OPC. Thank you for telling me ??
Thanks for the reply, does UNinstall the extension delete the stat tables in the SQL base ?
Well I found a 2.4.3 version, reinstalled it, and now get the same bug ! Great ??

In reply to: [Newsletter - Send awesome emails from WordPress] Captcha customizationHello Michael,
I kindly ask you to NOT move to Google Captcha! WordPress is a nice product that allows individual development, why do you want to give some parts to Google? On our sites we try to not use any Google things (fonts, for example). We even block on our servers the known Google IPs ?? That would be IMO a bad move to use their Captcha…
Now replacing ocu by uc does not work. Better and better.
Hi Ben! As it can be a heavy task to read data for each article, maybe you could do like that: 2 or 3 times a day, stats are collected and the “all reading” counter for each article/page is stored in a sql table. This SQL table is then read to display the counter wherever you want (and it would be fine in the “articles” list (admin) as most of concurrents do. Doing so would avoid heavy SQL requests to calculate for each article. Here, only one simple request.
Another solution would be only hiding the counter for visitors and keeping it for admins.
We would like that too, and there is probably an easy way by an additional filter in the functions.php. Will have a look ??
Ah ! But it was working fine “before”!
No way to add another “unsubscribe” link in the source, clickable? When we have hundreds of bounces (on a few sites ?? it was fine just to click…
I understand, of course, especially for a free plugin. Thank you for your honesty! Weare using it for some smaller sites and it is good ??
All the best!
Hello,
Yes 2.1.4 and always the same problem.
Thank you for replying! pm.max_requests is set to default (0).
Before turning OFF Wordfence we restarted php-fpm, and at the first connection on the site, the error came back. So it is probably not a question of capacity. Site displays about 100.000 pages by day, all going normally… until this error this morning.
I looked around, this error seems to be frequent with wordfence, but seems nothing can fix it really… Of course we can ignore it …until it crashes the site, but it isn’t the correct way ??
