Do you mean you want to move your WordPress installation to a new host using your new domain name? If so, backup your current WP database and use the backup file to populate your new installation with your original posts. You will have to upload your photos or other media files to suit.

I host with GoDaddy and my users have complained about speed since the 2.8 upgrades.

Thanks esmi; I’ll consider that method sometimes. The problem is that because of the theme I’m using, the first image uploaded directly into the post is used as the main photo and that’d be the one I don’t need repeated on the same page. (I’ll have to see whether fetching it via a url will give the same performance – which I doubt as it uses GD or some such library to manipulate the image.)

I’m sure there must be some purpose for the Show/Hide links and some documentation somewhere on how to use the function. I’ll google one more time…

Seems there’s no answer to this question. I click on the “Show”/”Hide” link and it doesn’t make a difference. I enter zero in the pic I want excluded and no luck.

Scrap that previous post. Plugin works perfectly. It just doesn’t know that I’m using a static homepage in the root directory. It probably needs a little bit of code to figure that out.

I’ve just installed the upgrade to use with WP 2.71. I get a blank screen when I visit the link https://www.abengnews.com/?reglevel=intern

Installed Stats with WP 2.7 and no stats. That means nobody’s visiting?

I don’t know whether the problem has to do with having WordPress in its own directory, with the index in the Web root but I’m using 2.7 and the link https://www.abengnews.com/feed/ gives a 404 error.

My bad. Placed the files in an old installation of WP on the server.

Just upgraded to 2.6.3 and tried to add a premium template, New Yorker, by stylewp.com. Uploaded the file folder to themes directory and it doesn’t show up in the admin panel at all along with the other themes.

Wonder if this is the theme’s fault of the upgrade….?!
