ok so either my browser was acting up or someone changed a link cuz i coulda sworn there was a hockey site listed here last night (https://nhl-tips.com) … i’m not really going crazy am i?

some ppl have tried to tell me it’s errors with my html or css but i don’t think so because a friend can login on another computer and post links just fine. i’ve since run CCleaner, updated flash, and still same problem. i’ve also disabled all plugins…wondering if i should us one of the wordpress reset plugins to reset the database but that still doesn’t explain why someone else on another computer can make links when i made her admin.

i can see it in firefox just fine….i’ll have to show it to my husband, he loves hockey!

still can’t make links with the editor within wordpress…only if i create it through the internal links editor i can’t see the links when i view the published page.

i’ve run ccleaner and my virus scanner.

there’s supposed to be two links above the test by Bunny
and there’s supposed to be two more links at the bottom above the manually added link.

in total there should be 8 links on that page but i’m only seeing 4. if you use firebug you can see that something is there.

i had another thought but i don’t know if it will work, can i put a php include for the menu on a page within the html editor in wordpress? still not what i’d wanted to accomplish but then i wouldn’t have to edit the menu for each page.

no i have not figured it out yet. that is just made with links as i described earlier and it’s only on the main portfolio page. i want an actual horizontal submenu (made within the wordpress menu editor) on all the portfolio pages. if its possible that is. links was my only solution for now but that means if i put it on every page i’d have to update each page manually whenever i wanted to add a gallery.

now this is really weird, i tried making a link manually, and it worked fine.

i’m using the link manager within wordpress to create the links.

yes, if you look at the site and click on PORTFOLIO on the menu you can see that the “portraits” link is still working. i wanted to link my other gallery pages but can’t.

i tried making a new page as a test and couldn’t get links to post there nor in my blog. all the old links are working fine.

i just have the portraits link there cuz that’s all i could figure out for now. but the word portraits would actually be where the menu goes.
i’d want the same menu on the Graphic Design page, Illustrations and Painting pages as well. hope that makes sense if not i can make a drawing lol.

from the html editor as i have always made links, clicked on the page within my site (within the that i want to link to within the insert/edit link editor. when i publish the page and preview it there is no link. i made links yesterday just fine.

WHY can’t you make new links?
that’s what i want to know!!!! ??

and yes i’ve disabled and deleted the plugins and cleared my cache.

oops didn’t realize that # is the reply button. kinda new to WP lol.

no because i don’t want to mess up my art gallery pages that are set up with nextgen gallery. i inserted the photos in the post just using the standard built-in wordpress gallery. that css should have nothing to do with the other. that along with the fact that firebug says the css class (or whatever it’s called) is gallery-1 and there is no gallery-1 in that css.
