I’m facing the very same problem. I’ll try to implement the ‘auth image’ hack, but before that I’ll try to block any comment. The problem is: I have to edit every post to uncheck the ‘Allow Comments’ option. :/

I have about 1700 posts archived in (new) blogger.com, tried the procedure yesterday and it didn’t work. The scripts says everything’s ok, but I don’t see my posts on WP. I’ll try it again today, but I already think that the import script may have to be adapted.
