I’ve been having the same issue. I’ve played with PHP versions (8.1.17 and 8.2.5), too. I’ve tried disabling various plugins which might provide some sort of interference (best guess).
The one I just caught, though, was a term that I have set as excluded. Yet, it was still highlighted and case changed.
I also then realized something else. In the content, the capitalization was missing (as if it is using the slug), but the tag cloud at the bottom was correct (matching the capitalization of the tag Term as defined).
WordPress v6.3.
Lastly, I turned off all the options on the dashboard. Then I uninstalled the plugin, confirming removal of data. Then I reinstalled the plugin(Version 3.10.0). Now things seem to be working correctly. If I remember correctly, I had this installed when some of the features were not legacy (maybe even before legacy became a tab?), or their implementations weren’t, at least.
Not sure if that was the “solution”, but is was a relatively painless resolution.
Just wanted to provide all of that after reading the frustration from @jhsesq and @stevejburge (understanding both sides of that).
Okay. Thanks, Chris. I’ll work on a different method. The beauty of WordPress is that you can tweak to your heart’s content.
Thanks again for this plugin. It’s greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Chris. It does. Is there a way to remove the cover image from the RSS that you are aware of? I may have to rethink my format ??
Chris:
Just an update. So, Google News does indeed strip out the cover image and text. However, I’ve also been using the GN feed elsewhere due to its formatting consistency (thank you for that) and the duplicate issue is there. What it does is show a snippet of the cover image that is just bigger than the text on the cover image.
For site formatting, I’ve disable the appearance of the featured image, and use the cover image as it has some formatting options that I don’t otherwise have.
I would like the cover image snippet to be removed OR have the cover image with it’s overlaid text rather than the featured image.
The feed URL is: https://devotion.al/feed/gn

Chris:
No problem. Link is: https://devoti.onl/feed/gn
However, I’ve moved domains to https://devotion.al/feed/gn and I’m not sure if that is experiencing the same issue.
In addition, as I added https://devotion.al (the new site) to Google News, however, there is now an option to check for duplicate images (which I don’t remember when I first added it). That seemed to work just fine without unchecking the featured image option.

opt-out-for-google-analytics seems to be the conflict. MailPoet is looking for the hooks and opt-out-for-google-analytics is preventing that. Have you deactivated or uninstalled opt-out-for-google-analytics prior to activating MailPoet?

Newsletters is a one-time send (not the most intuitive).
Have you used the Gutenberg columns block instead of using a table?
No, that shouldn’t make a difference in how it displays, but based upon my experience with Gutenberg, it might. When it comes to shortcodes, I have had odd experiences with Gutenberg.
I couldn’t tell you if it is how Gutenberg interprets them or if the shortcodes have to be rewritten for Gutenberg.
I had an update issue, as well. I deleted the plugin, FTP’d to my site and deleted the folder. I then reinstalled with no issues.

In reply to: Widget for Agenda plugin and more…This is about the only plugin that serves most of my needs. This seems to be the only plugin that has a good way to have repeating events. I would like to have some sort of calendar that would work on the sidebar.
stgoos: this does seem to have some sort of widget already part of it.
DGMike: I hope you decide to tweak the code some more.

In reply to: Links in “Add Media” Palette malformed?I’m having the same problem on Windows Server.
I’m wondering if this is a rewrite issue. Do you use “pretty” permalinks, or the generic ones?
