Next problem I’ve encountered is that this plugin interferes with 301 redirects, can’t get those to work. 301 plugins doesn’t work, even 301 rules in htaccess seems to be broken. Gonna make some tests tomorrow, 404’s are bad thing for Seo and inability to edit images within WordPress is just uncool.
Oh, and with new 6G security 404’s were 403’s, had to change it into 5G.

Thank you very much Michael, I see it works well and hope it will until it repairs everything ?? Now I’m getting about 700 410 errors which seems a good thing. And I will always use SEO by Yoast, even after that misfortune. That’s the thing, I trust this plugin.

Well, it just seems that I’m a moron. Google search Console says it was detected 2 days ago, but I installed this plugin 12 hours ago lol! Indeed 2 days ago I had a big problem with my non working server which for about an hour and it seems like googlebot was then crawling my site.

And even weirder thing is, it says that the all 404s are in the mobile version of my site. What is going on?

I did a few tests by enabling/disabling this option for 12/24h, few times, and the results are: there are about 20 lockouts per night when this option is disabled, but when it’s enabled I’ve literally ZERO lockouts. I’ve been so happy for a few days, but then some of my readers just sent my a mail with info that they can’t access into any category in my forum, which is a deal breaker for me.

String filter enabled for now.

XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.

It is enabled as I said earlier.
