Now that I’ve been using RPR for a few weeks now, there is something I would like to suggest as a future feature.

With invitation codes that can only be used once, how about an option whereby that invitation code is removed from the list automatically once it has beed used?

I only realised that as well as keeping a note of used codes in my own spreadsheet, I then went into the RPR Settings and deleted the code, to free up space.

Check you don’t have a conflict with another plugin. Mine was with Theme My Login (TML) and I resolved the issue simply by enabling Custom Emails within TML.

This is probably caused by a conflict with another plugin that supports Custom Emails. I had the same problem, with my conflict being caused by Theme My Login (TML). I just enabled the Custom Emails within that, and now it works.

I had the same problem and found it was a conflict with Theme My Login (TML). In TML, I enabled Custom Emails and that sorted the problem for me. If you don’t have TML, it may be a conflict with another plugin that supports custom emails.

GotRenz, do you use any other plugin that may be interfering with how it works? I’ve had the same problem with my first foray into WordPress, and discovered that another plugin Theme My Login (TML) was causing the problem. All I had to do within TML was enable custom emails, and now it works.

mohammadjavad, if you believe that the plugin ‘has a series of problems’ and you expect the author of the plugin to resolve those problems, then you would need to submit those problems to him so he can evaluate them. If they are real problems, and not perceived problems as you see it, then they will go into his list of other potential improvements.

I’ve only started using this plugin and have issues with it, but it isn’t because it hasn’t been updated. It’s because I have still to learn what it can and cannot do, and also how best to use it.

OK, got this sorted myself now.

For those interested, I used Theme My Login, and within that ticked ‘Enable Custom User Links’. I then went to the ‘User Links’ option now available under TML and removed the Dashboard option for Subscribers.

Last update on this. Went into Theme My Login settings and enabled ‘Custom E-mail’. Didn’t change the content of any of them. Registration now sends an email containing username and password. Just have to check password reset and lost password options.

Just to update this. I have now tried disabling verification email and having autologin, but it doesn’t log the new user in. If I try a new username/password, it states that the password is incorrect.
