In reply to: [Transposh WordPress Translation] Stored TranslationsI have inactivated the plugin on my sites and deleted it.
Your tables are still in the database – the Delete didn’t clean that up.wp_translations
wp_translations_logIi it safe for me to delete these two tables Will it break the site?

In reply to: [Transposh WordPress Translation] Stored TranslationsRe “Deformation”: Given the paranoia about Russian hacking, I suspect his ‘malware monitor” triggered on the Russian and I imagine the tech did not recognize Russian script and just considered it garbage. If he’d looked at my other site and seen 25 in Italian, he might not have considered that “deformed’ – but his ‘monitor’ might not have triggered on Italian as it did on Russian.
I understand the translated data is in a ‘different table’, in one website: 25 posts translated to Russian and in the other 25 posts translated to Italian. Your response implies that someone requested at least 25 Russian translations (maybe you only store the last 25?) on one site and 25 Italian translations on the other site. One of these sites is known to a fair number of people, being an archive of a blog that had 1100+ members. The other site is known to only a handful of people. I visit both sites and gotten translations into French, Spanish and German, yet I to not see those translations in your table.

In reply to: [Transposh WordPress Translation] Stored TranslationsUpdate:
On this particular site, Russian was the last of the five languages I specified. On another site using this plugin, Italian was the last language I specified and that site has 25 posts in the DB translated into Italian.
Seems we have a pattern here, eh?

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] A LifesaverIt’s well worth the cost of the ‘unlimited extension’.
I moved a 2gb file, twice, once to a test site to detect & resolve any problems, and once to a production site.
Moving Domain A to Domain A on a different server is not all that difficult – FTP the non-DB and backup/restore the DB. Moving from Doman A to Domain B requires tweaking the DB and this plugin’s ability to change values globally in the DB let me move from one domain to another successfully.
Aside from moving a site, it’s an excellent way to back up & rebuild a site.

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Beware: Limit of file sizeAnything bigger than 512mb requires the “unlimited extension’ for $69. That does work well. I migrated a 2GB site, 77000+ posts.

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] issue when installing the pluginOnce you have downloaded the zip file, login Admin and go to ‘add new plugin’ page. At the top, there is ‘upload plugin’ button. Click that, navigate to your downloaded zip file & select it. It will upload, unzip & install.

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] The BEST – Free and It Works WellWorks great – unless your files are more than 512mb. Then you have to pay for special add-on. I have a site with 75000+ posts and long comment threads. Too big for the free code to handle.

In reply to: Problems with 4.5 upgrade ADD MEDIA not workingAdd Media works for me. Maybe a theme or plugin issue?
I don’t use media-related plugins and my sites are okay, using 3 different themes.
