This is a great idea, the lack of change (besides the number) when voting will result in a lot of extra clicking on sites with a lot of commenters and comments who wont remember.

We had been using Bob Kings comment rating pro until our host upgraded to php 5.6, that broke the way too old code. Comment rating swapped the image with a grayed out version of the vote image when you had voted on that comment.

It is amazing how hooked some of our readers are on voting and the votes there comments received. When Comment rating broke we had more phone calls and emails then for any other issue.

Looking around this last week for a comment voting/rating plugin, I have had slim pickings and this Comment Popularity is what we will probably use and it would be great to show if one had voted on a comment.

The update 1.2.8.3 fixed it for me!

OK I found my issue, for some reason I was comment subscribed to all threads in the last 20 hours ( I filtered my mail so 300 mails really).

I am also getting notice of replies and some of mine have one of my users comments on some other website. 800 emails!

I am seeing the same thing in our jetpack stats. No idea everything seems to work fine.

I had the same issue (Firefox clips iframe) and the development version above fixed the issue!
Now I have other questions.

Hmmm I only had 300 or so “jetpack_nonce_…” in my wp_options table.
Anyone know if I can safely delete them all?
