…some extra information: I have also downloaded buddypress, and I constantly get a message saying I need to assign a wordpress page to the buddypress registration component. If I connect the buddypress component to the wordpress-registration page, then boom, I get to a registration page when I click the top left “register”-button. The problem is that I want to use profile builder, not buddy press for registering…

juggledad: If I understand you correctly; no. I am planning to run and publish publicly. But the weird thing is that I can do that now. That′s what makes me wonder. From work experience I have learnt that you can edit websites through a browser as an administrator, etc. Is that the kind of solution I′ve accidentally reached now?

PS! I′ve also downloaded Bitnami and given this program some required info about the wordpress website/-blog.

OK! Suddenly after having downloaded MAMP (have no clear idea if I have startet using it) I can edit my WordPress-website/blog via Safari and the website adress (I have miracoulously managed to log in). Is this another way of editing/administering my wordpress website/-blog instead of installing on my own computer (mac) and using FTP, TExt-editor, MySQL, cPanel and so on?

Really feel like I′m flying a plane without any license right now…
