Yes, we only use 2 categories for two lines of products. Skincare & Makeup so all products are under those two and they are enabled. I’m going to switch to ALL just to see if that changes anything as well.

Yes. Plugin has never been turned off. This is second time I’ve found issues. Don’t know if anyone else has fallen thru the cracks.

One thing I noticed was having two sites on a server. One our live site & the second being our staging site area on WPEngine. That made things bad. The staging site started sending auto message out.

I think its important to maybe have a shut off if in a dev or staging environments. Or a reminder to disable in those environments.

We updated but your title is unnecessarily too long. So think about how bad it looks in mobile. I’m not telling you you have to, I’m just saying you SHOULD shorten it to Product Visibility. It just clashes with all of Woo’s tabs. I personally wouldn’t name something in the backend that long.

I think with the bulk and what not you’ve done great there. Everything else has improved dramatically. Well done.

1. Not sure right now. I wanted to look at Woo’s Bulk ability and see if you had a way of adding it there. Bulk measures are always the hardest. Especially when someone has 10k products.

The per product UI is way better. Ideal in fact. The Bulk portion you added, that’s probably overkill. Bulk is definitely something someone with lots of products needs but there has to be an easier way than constantly scrolling down. I’ll put my thinking cap on.

Lastly you need to shorten the TAB title, that’s just too long inside WooCommerce Settings. If you look yours is the only one that stretches almost a third of the header. Leave it at “Product Visibility” that’s better than “Product Visibility By User Role”

Here’s an idea I had. I’m not sure if WP or Woo will allow but it’s an idea. Also, what just happened is a customer couldn’t remember her code and there’s no easy way that I can see where to go find it. Am I missing something? So maybe another column that displays their email and then email will be searchable and we can find them that way. Make sense?

Here’s my idea in a mockup for separating woo codes from your codes. Tabs would be even better but this might be easier.

Hi Tom, I know how to use it. I just hate seeing plugins without instructions for users who don’t know as much as say ME. I don’t know how you go the plugin to sit on top of the WP Editor, that may be great for some but as a long time WP coder I’d prefer it down below or to the side where I dragged it now. It’s not great there either but it’s the lesser of two evils.

Invisible roles people will have to pay. I’m assuming that due to the grayed out boxes. Either way people should know that a Pro Version is available at cost and what those costs get them. That’s not declared on here and only until after you’ve downloaded the plugin will you find that out. Declare that here on WP please.

If you need instructions written out and with screenshots I’d be more than happy to help contribute to them. I speak 7 languages and can translate in any one of them as well.

Just got word to switch to Commercial rates and then add additional fees to compensate you enough to cover S/H and whatever else you need. Being told that with the new USPS API it will only cover Commercial Rates and not Retail.

I can now say that as of late afternoon yesterday ours reverted back to only showing Priority. Can you say creepy? I had to revert back to First Class Large Envelope to have it appear. So strange. Time to move to Shopify.

@realpetchicken you may be using an outdated version. Also, everyone should check their PHP versions too. I just thought of that. If you are running on 5.2 that might not be helpful.

@kcellis I help Woo from time to time and so I know the team and consult often. I was given the file awhile back to review. Make sure you’re going thru each product and that weights and dims are chosen for each one. That’s the only way Recommend works.

Here are my settings just in case. But also realize each product has dims and weights on their own individual pages.

One of your settings, weights, must be off somewhere. I usually shut calculations off. I never use them. If you are using recommend make sure no box is passed 0.15 ounces. Boxes need to be under 0.15 and then Woo will calculate each product correct if their individual weights and dimensions are correct.

Ah you’re using the beta version then. I gave them the okay to release after reviewing so they must’ve released it. I was away for a few weeks. So that one should be working correctly then. Did you download it from Woo or from a repository elsewhere?
