In reply to: Theme Choice IssueYou will always need to CSS/Code something no matter free or paid. In 20 years I’ve never met a client that was okay with any theme. Always need to CSS this and Code that.
1. Use a Membership plugin like BuddyPress or BBPress, there may be a Forum plugin now as well. All plugins will adapt to your theme’s stylesheet.
2. Best map plugin is WP Google MAP with Snazzy Map

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Details from previous visitors appearing in Check Out FieldsI can’t help you if I don’t see the site. The GF forms are in the WP menu, look for FORMS and the two will be in there. You have a duty to your client to protect user’s info. I hope you have the site in maintenance mode. They could be sued.
WC forms are either in the plugin themselves, if they are they’re not your problem. If they’ve been copied to the theme then they could have custom code from GF. However, could be in the functions too.

In reply to: Foreign hackers on a non-pageThis is just a spam bot and there is nothing to worry about. However, you don’t want this being listed as a visit on your site so you need to add a filter in GA.
If you know how to write in htaccess add this
## STOP REFERRER SPAM RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} semalt\.com [NC,OR] RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} buttons-for-website\.com [NC] RewriteRule .* - [F]
Google how to to add a custom filter and then block any fake sites that you’ve seen. Semalt is huge Autoservice.org and the one you’re seeing now. Most are from semalt though.
A lot of spam bots are just trying to bog your site down with traffic and can attempt logins or register. If you see fake users registering make sure to delete them. Often their emails will end in .ru and .pl

In reply to: Hacked siteHave you run a Grep scan on the server? If done right you may not see the virus and what it’s displaying, but others may.
I would suggest first grepping the site with a search to see how many directories are infected. I don’t trust these plugins because they throw false positives. Nothing beats running a Grep and finding all the infections, backdoors need to be looked at.
Do not change any passcodes until you have cleaned your infection.

In reply to: Assigning roles for troubleshootingIf they built the theme and your not binded by any HIPPA or NDAs then it’s advisable to let them in. Especially if they’re fixing your issue.
I have heard of their name before. Don’t know anyone there though.
If you don’t feel comfy then you could always find someone willing to come to you.
