In reply to: [WordPress Share Buttons Plugin – AddThis] share buttons no longer showingwow! I am using a variety of browsers just to watch how the site looks for different people and yes, they do have ad blockers on them. Is there a way I can show some text right were the social icons would show that would tell the viewer their ad blocker is causing social share icons to not show up? We don’t have ads anywhere on the site, so I never thought anything would get blocked.

Buttons should show top & bottom. However, I’ve noticed when going into settings for the share it buttons, and looking at the list of available social media buttons available, instead of seeing their icons, I’m seeing big red “X”s. That might contribute to why they don’t show on the posts. The “feed” that pulls those icons in is disrupted.
I just figured out you don’t support the Simple CSS plugin. First time I’ve seen this incompatibility. I’ve changed the suggested code to the Custom CSS input field and it works great. Thank you!

In reply to: [YOP Poll] spacing between title & pollon this support question, only the width of the vote button is resolve. I’m still not sure how to bring the poll title closer to the rest of the poll.

In reply to: [YOP Poll] Vote button customizationOK, I took out some of the padding on the poll container and think it matches up now. Thanks!

In reply to: [YOP Poll] Vote button customizationI edited the poll template and replaced the px figure with 100% figuring it would be full width for the container it is in. That does make it go wide for both computer and smartphone. But still not as wide as the other plugins.
So I changed it to 110% and then it’s too wide on the right hand side. Left hand is still anchored short compared to the other items in that right sidebar.

In reply to: [YOP Poll] Vote button customizationWell this does work to a point. It raises a bigger issue for me in that my theme defines the sidebar as a percentage. Currently set to 25%. But the Poll Template defines the template width in pixels. Can I change this to a percent?
If not, I’ve figured out that 275px for the poll widget template does provide full vote button coverage but only for the desktop. In smartphone view mode, the button is about 20% to short.
Can we cover the widget template width to a percentage? I’m thinking that may allow it to work for both desktop & smartphone mode.
Or can you suggest another solution? Check out https://arlinstitute.org/support with your desktop & iPhone to see what I’m talking about.
Thanks!
Here’s the image. Thanks for your help.

In reply to: [YOP Poll] spacing between title & pollI appreciate your help. I’m using the “white” template and this is the page the poll is on: https://arlinstitute.org/support
Notice the subscribe to newsletter and testimonial sidebar items. I’m trying to have the Poll title match that spacing.
You can also see the difference in the width of the “vote” button compared to the submit in the subscribe widget. I’m trying to make that consistent too.
Thanks!

In reply to: [YOP Poll] Vote button customizationHello,
I’m using the white template and believe I’ve found the correct code area. It’s the last code in the template.
<div id = "yop-poll-vote-%POLL-ID%" class = "yop-poll-footer"> <div>%POLL-VOTE-BUTTON%</div> <div id = "yop-poll-results-%POLL-ID%">%POLL-VIEW-RESULT-LINK%</div> <div>%POLL-TOTAL-ANSWERS-LABEL%</div> <div>%POLL-TOTAL-VOTES-LABEL%</div> </div>
Could you tell me what I would change about this to make the button 40px wide for desktop view and for smartphone view, it would need be as wide as the container is? I have the poll in the right sidebar and all other items with buttons in that sidebar go full width when viewing on the smartphone.
I’ve put the below into the Simple CSS window for the tabs responsive page that shows the support page found at https://arlinstitute.org/support
I’ve then tried various settings by changing the percent, currently at 40%, up from the 16% in your sample code. However, I can’t get the tab width to change, no matter what percentage I put in.
did I put the code into the correct place? Is adjusting the percentage the correct way to make the tabs the same?
Thanks!

I just noticed that the tab width is the same in mobile view but not in desktop view
Thanks
I’m looking for a recaptcha plugin that will work with this plugin. WP-reCAPTCHA-bp places the recaptcha in odd places that change from browser to browser.
No CAPTCHA re CAPTCHA outright conflicts with this plugin and won’t allow the box accepting terms to be checked.
I’m hopeful you are away of recaptcha plugins that work well with your plugin. Thanks!
That worked. thank you!
Seems like White Label CMS is the culprit that allows your plug in to then function (if deactivated).
