Hi, I wonder if anyone knows why my menu button on my iPhone isn’t working for the SG Window’s free theme. It works on my ipad, (although I have to press each page twice to get it to change page, but on the iPhone when I press the menu button, nothing happens.

Hi,

I’ve now solved the problem. I had some text in the Default First Top Side Bar widget that I had inserted into the site from another theme I had used before and not deleted it. Therefore it showed up at the top of other pages.

I’ve seen what it is. I went into the WordPress dashboard to Appearance, Widgets, and then into

Default First Top Side Bar

I had put text and an image into this in another theme I was practising on and the title was
Our Electrical Services. I knew from this that this was the problem. I deleted all the text and it’s now gone.

Thank you again, but I went into this section again and ‘First Top Sidebar’ is unchecked. All the boxes in the layout section are unchecked as below:

Display Featured Image

Override default sidebars by custom sidebars on Pages (must be checked). Please, choose sidebars which you want to use on this page.

First column

Second column

First Top Sidebar

Before Footer Sidebar

I chose the ‘Full width’ layout.

Maybe I’m missing something?
