For the moment, I have solved the problem by using Formidable Forms instead of Contact form 7. But I find it less practical as I need to log in to the site to see the messages received.
I keep interested in finding a solution with Contact form 7.

I already have set reCaptcha version 3.

Today, I suppressed the reCaptcha plugin and then reinstalled it with version 3, just to be sure. I still have the same problem of spam in Contact Form 7.

I use :
– WordPress Version 5.3.2–fr_F
– Theme Twenty Twenty
– Contact Form 7 Version 5.1.6
– reCaptcha by BestWebSoft Version 1.55

On the Form on the page below :

When the Submit button in Contact Form 7 is clicked, there is an error message in an orange border. The Contact Form 7 documentation indicates that this is a sign of spam.

I also installed Flamingo to have some details about this. It mentions about the messages :

Spam log: The result of reCAPTCHA (0.00) is below the threshold (0.50).

How can we improve this result to match the threshold ?

The result is the same with different captchas :

– Contact Form 7 Captcha
– Captcha Bank
– reCaptcha by BestWebSoft

I have not tested other forms. It seems to be the last solution unless you have an idea ?

For the moment, I cannot even log in to my site. When I try to log in, all I get is :

Authentication failed.
You have entered an incorrect reCAPTCHA value.

I have to fix this first and I will come back after to the Contact Form problem.

This message was generated by Contact Form 7 (not reCaptcha Pro). Contact Form 7 is not our plugin. Please contact their official support service.

The problem is the same with different free Captcha :

– Captcha Bank Version 4.0.35
– Contact Form 7 Captcha Version 0.0.3
– reCaptcha by BestWebSoft Version 1.55

So I decided tu buy the pro Version of ReCaptcha but it didn’t change anything.

For the moment, I cannot succeed in submitting a request to BestWebSoft Support but I’ll try again…
