I have the very same problem and judging by the support response, we’re not going to get an answer anytime soon.

Can the developer please let us know how to combat this problem?

I use the newest Firefox and Safari.

We resolved the issue by turning OFF database caching in W3TotalCache. That’s what was causing the problem.

Test it out, deselect database caching on your caching plugin and see what happens. Chances are it’ll begin working.

Been getting clients complaining of the same problem.

I just turned off my WP Super Cache and the EMPTY CART problem seems to have resolved itself on my end.

It always worked on Safari on my end, but my clients could’t make it work on either Chrome or IE. It just worked on Chrome for me after cache shutoff. Clients will try now…

Turns out, it doesn’t work for them. CART EMPTY is the problem they encounter.

Like others have said, these problems do not bode well for Cart66 and the fact that customer support isn’t more responsive makes it even worse.

I have a few e-commerce projects coming up and am unlikely to use Cart66 (not even paid hearing lackluster support there too) for those.

Please help, Cart66 support!

I had my coder fix the issue… yes, it came back when i upgraded to the newest version. What that tell me is that my coder had updated the plugin CSS and when I updated, that CSS modification was overwritten.

He fixed it for me again, but I don’t know exactly what he did. Sorry.

Check out a wordpress expert on eLance or some site like that… it’s good to have one at your disposal.

Your suggestion worked wonderfully in Safari, but Firefox still added the background from the old button.

I’m plunking down the $ and having my coder take it from here. Coding is not my talent and therefore not the most valuable use of my time.

I should add that I am serving the videos up from my Amazon S3 bucket. Is there anyway to do that with this player?

I had the same problem. I store my .flv’s and corresponding jpg thumbnails on an Amazon S3 server and when I loaded the S3 jpg into the wordtube media entry, I would get the very same problem everyone is talking about in this entry.

So I tried uploading the pic to the media folder and reference it from there. IT WORKED. Not sure why or what the deal is, but hey, as long as it works.

Max, I have the exact same request. The FAQ’s hints that this is a supported feature (https://isagoksu.com/proplayer-wordpress-plugin/), but it doesn’texplicitly say this, nor does it mention how to make it work.

“I can’t see the preview of the video if I don’t press play?
After version 4.0, you can see preview image of the videos.”

But the example that follows is for ONE picture only (not for playlist photos).

Any help from Isa would be SUPER APPRECIATED. I have yet to come across a good solution to making a playlist video player. I’ve tried Brightcove (which when it was free, was AWESOME), kaltura (super buggy, video upload is buggy and freezes), and various longtail associated WP plugins. Pro Player is the closest one to what I need, but without the preview picture for playlist vids and descriptions for playlist vids, it’s not EXACTLY what I need.

Isa, can you help?
