once again, thank you for your reply, i understand nothing is 100%, but just wanted to know if there was a difference in the level of protection between a captcha where you have to do the little sum everytime or the invisible captcha where some kind of system detects foul play (i only on the initial wordpress login screen).
I’m no techy, but are assuming when you have to do the sum everytime, this would be better as it’s asking for the sum to be done every single time, so would have the best chance of stopping any bot, but the invisible captcha must run some kind of criteria to judge wether there may be foul play, thus display the captcha, hopefully my question is getting across?
So all i am asking is for the initial wordpress login screen, is the invisible captcha just as secure as one that asks for the sum every single time, i know this doesn’t stop all kinds of attacks and is not offering 100% security, but is the captcha that asks for the sum everytime technically more secure that the invisible captcha that does not?
Thank you for your time, i do appreciate the replies, i’m still learning all the time… ??
Thank you, i’ve never heard of invisible captcha before, does this offer the same level of protection as when someone has to do a little sum? If so i’ll install your plugin on all my websites if you can say that it offers the same level of security?
Thanks in advance… ??

In reply to: Can’t Delete Hello World Post, It Keeps Coming Back As A Draft PostHi, i have done that mate, when you removed it from the trash, it just goes back into the drafts, even if you edit the text in the post and save it, the text is saved, but as soon as you delete it and it goes into drafts, when you open the post, the text isn’t there. I’ve also optimised all my databases, wordpress is the most current version and i have de-activated every plugin, it’s a weird one… ??
its under the gallery settings, there is a dropdown menu that lets you select your gallery page, set this to — ??
Hi Jellesweb, try unselecting the main gallery back to default (—), this fixed this with all my galleries… ??
i tried this today, and everything looks fine… BUT! have you actually clicked on an image in a gallery, it does not use the lightbox, just opens up the image in the same window just through the browser?
Sent an email to the support today as it crashed all my sites, but using the same theme, just updated it on all other sites using various themes and everyone crashed, just uploaded v4.4.6 from backup and all is fine, i’m sure the next update will fix the issues, mine are:
1. It places the page name as a header title on each page
2. It removes the sidebars from every page
3. It puts every gallery at the bottom of every pageGood luck guys… ??

In reply to: [Quick Contact Form] How to Remove Line Breakswill do, thanks… ??
i changed absolutely nothing, the second wordpress updated most of my websites went down, i just logged in via ftp and removed the wordfence folder from the plugin directory, all websites fine now…
i’m glad it’s not just me, i got used to uninstalling backupbuddy every time i used it, but now, most of my websites won’t work unless i remove the latest version of wordfence and some only have a few plugins installed. Can anyone from Wordfence shed any light, i think its a case of a false positive again, but the latest version seems too sensitive?

In reply to: Do i need to add a robots.txt filethank you… one last question, i know wordpress automatically creates a virtual robots.txt file, is this good enough for google, if there is no physical robots.txt file how does google see the virtual file? When the crawlers look into the directory, apparently it reads the virtual robots.txt file, but it doesn’t actually exist so really my question is:
is the wordpress virtual robots.txt file good enough, so in future i need not bother installing a robots.txt plugin as i don’t add anything into the file anyway?
thanks… ??

In reply to: Do i need to add a robots.txt filethanks for your answer, does the second line disallow: / mean not to index anything, ie google won’t crawl the whole site? If so, this would make sence.
secondly, the plugin i use (robots.txt plugin) creates a section in my settings in the reading to amend the robots.txt file, but is this a physical file (not the virtual wordpress file), if so, where is this file, i cannot find it on my server anywhere?
thanks again in advance… ??
