I’m having similar issues to what is described but more importantly, I cannot find a way to change the template my pages are using, its just not possible when you try to – see screenshot. the only options I have are to create a new template which I don’t want to do. Any ideas?

@kharisblank maybe you can just help me try to achieve what I need with a workaround. Instead of creating post formats, I have tried to style a draft post the way I want using the Botiga page builder mode and then would just copy the post style for future posts, see below view in editor mode and then below that in preview mode:

I’m almost there but I cannot seem to do much in Botiga Page Builder Mode – ultimately I just need to increase the space between the site header and my post heading (as you can see it’s too close).

Am I missing something simple?

Okay, understood – it was a long shot and based on a misunderstanding of mine so totally makes sense.

I’ll give your suggestion a try but I am loathe to adding another plugin (as amazing as it sounds), especially one that is so comprehensive, just to achieve a small feature/function enhancement.

I do get your point that the function is one related to importing items. I did try that separate option with Feedzy but then ran up against the problem that a post is created for each feed item rather than all feed items being collected into one post which is what I want.

I tried the feed to post function (assume it’s the import function you are referring to) and the challenge with that is it creates a post for every feed item when what I am after is a fixed set of feed items (time bounded) in one post.

If there was a possibility to set time parameters in the Feedzy block settings that would be ideal – that is not perhaps on a roadmap by any chance?

@tisujeck I created a workaround for the site logo by removing the site logo block and simply adding an image block – works just as well ??

Hi Jan-Willem, I totally get your point – actually that is what attracted me to the plugin, the simplicity and single-mindedness of it.

The way I see it, this request of mine is a tweak that would greatly enhance the plugin for non technical users and broaden its user base immensely without really adding extra functionality outside of the main purpose – like this plugin for instance: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/auto-post-thumbnail/

I could do what you suggest using a specific class to target it on pages but that will take too long to figure out and do for every page and so in the end I just give up on this task, as will other non tech users probably, and those on WordPress.com maybe ??

Plugins are available to install in the regular way on Business or eCommerce Plans only. I installed your plugin no problem and it works great, I just wish I had a control in settings for it where I could disable the function on pages. That would be super user friendly and might get you more users ??

@janwoostendorp I am running a site on WordPress.com and love your plugin but really need to avoid pages having the default featured image. Any idea on instructions to deploy your fix for my situation – I don’t believe it is easily possible. I’m also not very technical although know most of my way around the admin of WP…

@oskosk on the first point, I was using the WordPress App and the Sketch block is simply not one I can select from. Maybe I’m missing something. I do imagine it would work in a browser so could try that but I do try and work in the Apps on my iPad and iPhone – that way maybe the Apple Pencil would work too?

Thanks for looking at the alignment issue and any way you will be looking at the undo and redo function I mentioned too?
