I have done the same and this doesn’t work for me. Scratch that – it’s showing now.

Does your last sentence mean that in the future you cannot use Sensei quizzes if your lessons are built on WP Bakery page builder? If this is the case I will have to move to a different LMS. I don’t really understand why support for such a widely used page builder would be removed in favour of the block editor.

Yes that must be it. All of my lessons are created using WP Bakery. Previously I would edit my lessons with WP Bakery and there was a quiz section on the page where I could add a quiz and set the questions. With this new update, this is no longer there.

I don’t use the Gutenberg editor as all of my lessons and pages are built with WP Bakery – does this mean that lessons built with WP Bakery cannot add quizzes?

I don’t have a link to a lesson as they are all behind a login. I could create a sample lesson if that were to help
