Ok – this wored for me!
To hide the language switcher, go to the Colorlib Login Customizer page (the page with all the cool settings for changing the way that the log in page looks.

Here, find the Custom CSS area. This is the last option.

Here add the following code, to hide the language switcher. I have no idea if this is a wrong or dirty way of doing this, but it worked for me

language-switcher {
display: none;
}

It works here too. I think that some other plugin was interfering, but after I reinstalled the destination site, and reconfigured, everything worked fine! thanks!

Edit: I have worked a bit more with this, and I have found more info. I believe that you can close this ticket. I expected this to replace the default WordPress gallery but I now see that it creates its own block

I feel it is easier to gain followers by interacting with them, but if it’s not possible, there is not much to do. Still a good option to bring ones content to the fediverse. Thanks for your plugin!

When I installed the plugin, it created a profile on mastodon that shares the posts I make on the blog.

Is there a way that I can log into mastodon and act as that account? So that I can follow others and comment on their posts using the account that shares the posts to mastodon?

An examble could be that the plugin has created an account called StephRookie on mastodon, and it shares my blog posts to mastodon. Can StephRookie on mastodon follow other accounts, like/boost/comment on other posts?

One more thing, I am needing an option to hide the featured video, at the head of the post. So when I do use a featured video, I don’t necessarilly want it to show up as a header of the post its featured on. I’d like to place it further down the post. But it seems like with your plugin, it is automatically set at the top of the post. Does your pro version include this too?

All had the same cropping issue , the one i have kept (Real simple featured video) also allows to use self hosted videos so this is the one that i’d prefere to keep

@thelmachido your link actually describes the plug in taht i already use. They don’t offer support and all theri support messasges have not been replied to the past 9 months. That said, the 3 plugins that i have tried on 2023 have the exact same issue on the theme so i asume that the problem is with the theme and not the plugins. Who can i report this to for help?

@zoonini thanks for this! So this will just hide the post but leave an empty spot where it is?

I don’t want to use a plug in for several reasons one of them is that they cost a monthly fee (or anual) and the other is that I’d rather keep the site as light weight as possible.

I will try to maybe get the wished effect by using maybe the sticky feature? Maybe I can make a grid that shows only sticky posts and limit that to only show the latest 3

Then make a new grid bellow only showing the rest of the posts excluding sticky?

There i have two grids. One that shoe?ws all posts with the tag “featured”.

Bellow that I gave a grid with all other posts where I want to exclude all posts with the tag “featured”

It seems that java error warning is not consistent. I only get it some times. I just tried to recreate it, and now it is not there.

I will have to contact google and ask them why they don’t serve ads through the code. It is very strange to me that they would not give a reason in the adsense webpage, if they have chosen not to serve ad
