In reply to: W3TC not reflecting CSS changes?I solved my issue… I use GoDaddy shared hosting and they had given me a code to add to my header.php for gzipping:
<? ob_start("ob_gzhandler"); ?>
It just dawned on me that that may have been causing all of my CDN issues and having removed that, I may be right.

In reply to: W3TC not reflecting CSS changes?I have had a similar issue with a background image returning randomly on Internet Explorer.
I have cleared the cache multiple times on both the browser and the plugin. I have deleted files in the CDN bucket. But as soon as I think it’s gone a page is served from the plugin and the background is there again
Your site loads in 2 seconds, Arnold. Not much to worry about I think

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] CSS images not being servedThanks for your reply Frederick but no need to. I upgraded to the development version, .9.1.4b and all issues were resolved save for minor ones which I suspect can be sorted by trying different settings.
It also corrected the error of files being queued in the unsuccessful transfers for new posts.
Thanks for a great piece of software..

In reply to: [Plugin: TinyMCEComments] Not working with nested comments in 2.7Update: got it to work on https://frompstomp.com using Kubrick theme, once.

In reply to: [Plugin: TinyMCEComments] Not working with nested comments in 2.7mk, thanks for replying.
I am using a very well designed child theme, Shadow, on the Options theme by Justin Tadlock.
That’s on my primary site, https://bourgy.comAnd I am using the default Kubrick on my other site https://frompstomp.com
Both have the same issue, I can utilise all the features for a regular comment, but if I reply to a comment, it doesn’t show as nested and it shows as a ‘single comment’ at the bottom of all comments.
Can you point me to a site where it works perfectly so I can have a look?

In reply to: [Plugin: TinyMCEComments] Not working with nested comments in 2.7mk, it doesn’t work for me on either of my two sites with different themes.
Previously when I clicked reply it didn’t allow me to type anything at all. Now I can make a comment but it doesn’t show as a nested comment.Any ideas?

In reply to: What are the disadvantages of not upgrading to 2.7?What are these plugins that aren’t compatible.
I think we use too many plugins generally. I use 10 or so and they all ported fine with 2.7Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Upgrading from 2.7 RC1 to RC2I suppose you have abandoned RC2 and are upgrading to 2.71?
But is your host on the compatible list?
