In reply to: [Widget Importer & Exporter] Cannot import certain widgetsHello,
What happens when you try to import? Is there a message (post it here)? Please describe the steps you are taking and the result you get in comparison to what you are expecting to happen.
Thank you.

I am still seeing this as well on 3.7.0.

In reply to: [Widget Importer & Exporter] Hosting serverYes, you should be able to import the same .wie file(s).
Some hosts will migrate your website from the old host for new customers. Or, you may want to consider a plugin like Duplicator or Updraft Migrator to move your entire site rather than importing parts in pieces. In either case, you’ll have an exact copy of the site and be done in one shot.

In reply to: [Widget Importer & Exporter] Plugin versions compatibilityYes, the .wie format hasn’t changed.
@afshingm That is good to hear!
@afshingm Did you see “Alternative Import Method” in this topic?
If you’re still experiencing an issue then please start a new topic. The URL above will tell you what information to provide.
Security. WordPress had a bugs in those versions that required a workaround. It should not be necessary for newer versions. Be sure to uninstall the plugin after using it. I have not been able to determine why this issue still happens on some servers but there are multiple workarounds (paste text, MIME plugin). If you have some time to work on the problem then please feel free to submit a pull request on GitHub.

Thanks for your work on the plugin.

In reply to: [Widget Importer & Exporter] Very nice pluginThank you for renewing. I’m glad to hear it meets your needs.
You’re very welcome. There are links to official and third-party themes on the listing at https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/church-theme-content/. Have a great day!
Hello,
The Church Content plugin is compatible with WordPress 5.5.
However, the theme you are using is apparently not (have seen this multiple times with sites using Forgiven now) and may need to be updated. Here is a link to the theme’s support page on ThemeForest: https://themeforest.net/item/forgiven-a-wordpress-theme-for-churches/6964937/support
If you find that the issue is not the Forgiven theme then deactivate all of your plugins except Church Content. Does the problem cease? If so, re-activate each plugin one at a time, testing for the problem as you go, to determine which plugin is creating the issue.
WordPress 5.5’s version of jQuery doesn’t support .live() and should use .on() instead. This is a common issue with plugins and themes after WordPress 5.5 and I suspect this is what you’re experiencing. A quick fix could be to activate this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/, but ultimately the theme or plugin causing the issue should be updated.
