You can also try temporarily switching to the default Twenty Fourteen theme in case the theme is creating an issue.

I don’t see an error on your site. Did you get it solved?

One of the plugins could be generating a PHP error. Try deactivating them both to see if the error goes away. If it does, activate each individually to determine which is causing the error. If you find that one of the plugins generates an error you can report it to the plugin author.

When you say nothing happens do you mean your changes do not show or do you mean you see a blank page?

Can you verify that single.php on the server is the same as the local copy? It’s possible it hasn’t actually uploaded. Also make sure you are viewing an individual blog post. Lastly, if you’re using a caching plugin, go to its settings and clear the cache.

I’m not sure if this would be the issue but be aware that Widget Importer & Exporter had an issue in 1.0 relating to how data was imported. It was fixed in 1.0.1 so if you haven’t tried deleting the widgets, updating the plugin to 1.0.1, then re-importing the widgets with that version, it might be worth a shot. The data going in will be different even though the file you are importing is the same.

There was a bug in Widget Importer & Exporter 1.0 that could cause what you are seeing. It was fixed a few weeks ago with version 1.0.1 so the solution for you should be to update to the latest version of the plugin, delete the widgets you previously imported with it, then re-import those widgets. Widgets imported with the new version should not have the same issue.
