In reply to: [Contextual Related Posts] Text alignmentHi! Thanks for the reply.
Does this help further?

Sorry, I don’t understand your comment about thumbnails not regenerating automatically. As far I as I saw, when I tweaked the thumbnail sizes on the ‘thumbnails’ page in your plugin to try and resolve it, the new sizes appeared in real time. Any further help appreciated. I’m 99% certain they used to display correctly together with the text – something has changed. Cheers, SteveForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Contextual Related Posts] Text alignmentThanks for the quick reply… This is where I was looking, but couldn’t see anything of relevance. I’ve tried adjusting the size of the thumbnails, but it didn’t fix things…

In reply to: [Payment Button for PayPal] Using QR CodesI’m going to attempt to answer my own question… If there is anyone on here that understands where I’m going with this, any feedback would be appreciated.
In short, I was attempting to create a printed page that showed a variety of QR Codes that represented various donation amounts. These always worked ‘for a while’. Then, the QR codes fail with the message ‘‘something’s not right. This page does not exist’, after a period of time.
As I mentioned in my original post, the QR codes worked for some hours (I didn’t measure it exactly) and then the error message appeared.
So, on doing some investigation, I discovered:-
The PayPal URL to the various donations includes an ‘access token'(whatever they are!) as part of the url. Therefore the QR Code I created at the time was fine. However, the access token apparently has a finite life (I read 9 hours???). After that, if the access token becomes invalid – and therefore the URL doesn’t work – and another is generated (but of course, the QR code doesn’t know that – and fails, because the URL does not exist any longer).
I’ve concluded, therefore, it’s not possible to create a QR code that I can print that takes a user to the ‘donate’ page for different amounts. If this conclusion is incorrect, I’d love to know how to get this sorted. Thanks, SteveForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Payment Button for PayPal] Button sizethank you for your quick reply. Appreciated. Is the a link to show me how to implement this?
PS Does your plugin also allow payment by credit/debit card using the PayPal platform?
Thanks, Steve

In reply to: [Pen] Social Media iconsthank you! Good to know! ??
Yes, it took far too long to get a response here, and I thought I’d been ignored or forgotten about – or no-one knew how to solve my problem. In the end, out of desperation, I reached out to MailPoet themselves who offered a similar suggestion. Problem now solved, thanks! ?? Steve
Apologies Jan. Thanks for the heads-up. Steve
Hi again Ojoma
UPDATE Tuesday, August 1, 2023
No, sorry, on testing, your suggestion, unfortunately, does not solve the issue. After switching status to OFF, I published my Post and instant notify did not function (as expected). But, as soon as I flicked the status back ON, it played ‘catch-up’ by notifying all my subscribers. To clarify, I’m looking for a way to be selective about auto notifying my subscribers – I want to be able to publish to my Blog *sometimes* and NOT notify my subscriber-base of the Post AT ALL. Is this possible? In your previous reply above, you seemed to suggest it was
Look forward to hearing your suggestion.
Thanks, SteveHi Ojoma
Thanks for this tip, it’s very helpful – I’d missed that option that you showed in your screenshot. So, I guess I switch the status OFF before publishing and when the Post has been published, switch it back ON? And just to confirm… it won’t try to ‘catch up’ and try and publish past Posts when I switch the status back on again?
Thank you
