The reason that the nav is moving slightly is because on the hover you have set a border, but not on the links.

border: 1px solid #CA3256;

In the following class .pagelinks a, .pagelinks a:visited

Add this:

border: 1px solid #D04062;

All should be fine now…

With the latest version of WP, 1.5 there is an easier way than with older versions or WP. This is simply by using templates and themes.
