I’m quite glad actually, as I didn’t like the look at all of those icons.

I’ve just had this error too.

The way around it, is to upload the image as normal into the Media Library, then add it to your Foo Gallery from there.

Sorted it – I upgraded to pro and all of the Google based stuff went through straight away!

I just noticed this issue too.

I just deleted the offending line of code containing the url and it seems to work fine now.

There are many people who do not understand how this plugin works.

Yes you’re dead right, I don’t grasp how this plugin works.

I haven’t yet figured out how with every single option disabled, it still manages to totally wipe out a whole website.

Wonderful hacking tool though!

Thanks for your help Frank, much appreciated, but the problems with CSS are looking way too complex.

Have just sent an email to make sure you’re receiving them.

I tried every option and combination one by one, all with the same result of a white page with a list of contents.

Adding “.min” has no effect.

First the good points:

The HTML and Javascript options seem to work ok now, giving a speed boost of around 2 according to GTMetrix and Google Page Speed Insights.

Now the bad points:

The CSS options are still utter rubbish though not QUITE as bad as when they obliterated the website. Now all the styling disappears but you can still see some of the content.

Knowing that you don’t like one-star ratings, I’ll re-assess it to a two-star, purely because the website doesn’t totally disappear now, but I have a feeling that I’ll be using something else for site speed.

Just back on a whim again.

I’m now running a website that has a SSL certificate, and as we all know, this layer of security can slow up sites to a degree.

I’m about to give Autoptimize another blast, so I’ll let you know what happens!

It’s ok, just found the solution via another forum post thats just been replied to.

Screen Options >> Uncheck ‘expand editor…etc’
