In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Not able to access Visual Editor in Text ModeThis works perfectly.
I’m quite glad actually, as I didn’t like the look at all of those icons.
I’ve just had this error too.
The way around it, is to upload the image as normal into the Media Library, then add it to your Foo Gallery from there.

In reply to: Page/Post Editor FreezingThanks, I think that article has sorted it out – no problems at all in Firefox!
Looks like my old SWIron (offshoot of Chrome) is about ready for being retired.
Thanks for the help!

In reply to: [Speed Booster Pack ? PageSpeed Optimization Suite] How to Decimate a WebsiteThere are many people who do not understand how this plugin works.
Nevermind… Different people, different opinions…
By the obtuse and patronising attitude shown above, it would appear that the support is not that hot either.
Uninstalled – bye bye!

In reply to: [Speed Booster Pack ? PageSpeed Optimization Suite] How to Decimate a WebsiteYes you’re dead right, I don’t grasp how this plugin works.
I haven’t yet figured out how with every single option disabled, it still manages to totally wipe out a whole website.
Wonderful hacking tool though!

In reply to: [Autoptimize] (Not So Much of a) Nightmare (Now!)I tried every option and combination one by one, all with the same result of a white page with a list of contents.
Adding “.min” has no effect.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] (Not So Much of a) Nightmare (Now!)First the good points:
The HTML and Javascript options seem to work ok now, giving a speed boost of around 2 according to GTMetrix and Google Page Speed Insights.
Now the bad points:
The CSS options are still utter rubbish though not QUITE as bad as when they obliterated the website. Now all the styling disappears but you can still see some of the content.
Knowing that you don’t like one-star ratings, I’ll re-assess it to a two-star, purely because the website doesn’t totally disappear now, but I have a feeling that I’ll be using something else for site speed.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] (Not So Much of a) Nightmare (Now!)Just back on a whim again.
I’m now running a website that has a SSL certificate, and as we all know, this layer of security can slow up sites to a degree.
I’m about to give Autoptimize another blast, so I’ll let you know what happens!
