A couple things to at least check…
1) If you have the setting to ignore administrator traffic, it won’t be there if you view page source on the browser you’re using as admin. (There is a note in the page source to that effect you will see, but just thought I’d mention it.)
2) Be careful about site caching, depending on where you host or plugins you use.
Same problem here.
Remember to clear your cache (for your site) if possible before trying (I didn’t, unfortunately).
I’m also seeing the proper code in page source, so I don’t think this is a plugin issue, but a Google issue.
If it makes you feel any better, I’ve had LOTS of these kinds of problems with Google authenticating stuff in general. I even sat on their support one time for nearly an hour, while the tech tried to fix it. The tech indicated he could see the codes, but the system just wouldn’t. It worked after waiting several hours.
So far, no luck with this one though, and I know it’s been at least a few hours. I’ll try again tomorrow.
Same thing on one of my client’s sites as bozwellox. The first time it happened, it was on their live site, so I had to restore the site. Since, I’ve tried it several times on their staging server with a fresh copy of the site, same problem each time.
Their live site is still running 7.3.1. I just can’t update it any longer.
WordPress 3.9.2 with Modernize (by GoodLayers) them running on WP Engine.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Confused about canonical and other blog sitesNote:
When I look at the source for the secondary site, it does have a single canonical line which points to the primary site article.<link rel="canonical" href="https://www.PrimarySite.com/blog-title/" />
This looks correct to me, and seems to be similar to what I’m seeing if I look at the source of that blog I write for using All in One SEO. I’m just looking for some confirmation from someone who knows about this. ??
Thanks again.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [CSS & JavaScript Toolbox] CJT break blog list paginationAlso, just to fill in a bit more info for others that might be reading this… this problem only presented if the front-page of the site is static (using that WordPress option) AND pagination occurs on that front page. Most of the GoodLayers themes work this way, as they use a ‘Page Builder’ to construct the front page (or any page) of the site out of modules. For modules such as ‘blog’ or ‘portfolio,’ there will often be pagination involved, as there are too many items to fit on one ‘page.’
While I can see that this a rare thing through their experience, I’ve seen more themes doing this kind of thing lately, so I’m guessing more people would have run into this in the future. I’m glad it is fixed, as this is an insanely useful plugin. ??

In reply to: [CSS & JavaScript Toolbox] CJT break blog list paginationAwesome…. and thanks so much for your hard work and keeping going to finding the problem. That speaks very well to your support! I’m glad I finally had an environment available to help track it down. This kind of thing is understandably difficult if there is only a live site available to work with.

In reply to: [SB RSS feed plus] Flipboard not picking up imagesOh, that’s interesting, I’ll look forward to that setting. My images are bigger, but maybe WordPress is auto-scaling them down or something.

In reply to: [CSS & JavaScript Toolbox] CJT break blog list paginationJust another update re: v6.1
The problem has actually become a bit more confusing with this update. The pagination will work fine, then when the plugin is enabled, will break like before. However, after deactivating the plugin, the problem will still persist for some unknown period of time… then pagination will begin working again. I’m guessing it might be some kind of browser caching thing, as while it’s not working in the browser which enabled/disabled the plugin… it works in another browser at that point.
Anyway, don’t worry about it for now. In a week or two, I’m hoping to have the site it really needs to be in-use on, moved to a new host (I’m just testing it on my site… their site is still using the old version). Once moved, I’ll have the easy ability to create a ‘sandbox’ version where we can update and troubleshoot non-live. If I have issues after update on that site, I’ll let you know. Thanks again.
Excellent addition! Thanks much.
The old site has been totally pulled, but the problem continues. I don’t understand how traffic is still getting measured by the Universal profile, as the tracking code exists nowhere on the site. Anyone have any ideas or in a similar situation? Thanks.
I didn’t see a poll, but I left a message. I’d LOVE to see such a feature… I came here to request it and then saw this thread. ?? As a web developer, I don’t have access to my client’s Google Analytics, other than what I can see in the dashboard. My main need is to be able to see how many active users, so I can decide when to take the site down for maintenance. Thanks!

In reply to: [SB RSS feed plus] Flipboard not picking up images@ mahlemiut –
Still no luck here. As far as I can tell, Flipboard is just odd and buggy (I think there is a lot of caching going on with the app itself… but clearing it isn’t always successful.) I’ve got just about all the other social-media type feeds nailed down, but can’t seem to get Flipboard solved. The only solution I’ve found, for my sites, is to actually imbed images into the post, and I don’t want to do that…. it was kind of the point of this plugin.
@ cheapeatz –
I’ve mostly tested with just Firefox or Chrome. Even Feedly seems to have gotten kind of odd since Google’s RSS reader went away. I think they are trying to become a Flipboard or something, rather than a RSS reader.

In reply to: [CSS & JavaScript Toolbox] CJT break blog list paginationJust FYI…. 6.0.15 did not resolve the issue either. (The notes didn’t seem to indicate it would, but just wanted to let you know.)
