Yes, wpPHPMailer does enable the emails to be sent. However, there is no notification to the user that an email has been sent. I don’t know whether I can add a notification through wpPHPMailer or ShareThis.

Also, the ShareThis popup is submerged if there is a video in the post below, which is a nuisance (but a different issue).

Ccon, please clarify. Are you saying that you use “wpPHPMailer” as well as “Share This” or instead?

So is “wpPHPMailer a plugin that can make “Share This” work properly?

Well unfortunately I’m not a techie. Can you advise on what steps I should take to get my “Share This” plugin sending ok or how I could try the phpmail function? Alternatively, do you think it’s a server-specific issue that I’ll have to sort out with my web site hoster?

I know that I can’t send emails with the plugin but I don’t know whether it works for someone else. Can anyone check?

Is it possible to display a particular shot of a YouTube video, rather than the default shot?

Maybe it needs a little more space between the columns.

Thank you. That seems to work. It wasn’t at all clear that the dashboard should be the Clicky dashboard or even that there was a Clicky dashboard.

The same page comes up when I click ‘Clicky’ on my ‘Options’ page.

Tricky because it’s when I click “Enable the plugin and click here to manage its options” on the ‘Clicky Web Analytics’ line of my ‘Manage Plugins’ page.

Ok, I tried an automatic repair in WP-phpMyAdmin. This seems to have worked for wp_options but not for wp_posts.

Trying to automatically repair it gives:

info: Key 1 – Found wrong stored record at 48000
error: Not enough memory for blob at 48424 (need 17330390…

What can I do?

doodlebee, I found MD5 in the drop down menu and selected it. This encoded my changed password and I can now log in.

So, onwards to the next debilitating problem! Thanks for your help.

I’ve now managed to change my user_login and user_password entries.

Unfortunately, when I try to log in it still tells me “ERROR: Incorrect password”.

Is this anything to do with the “MD5” (which I didn’t find) or the dropdown box (ditto)?

Ok. I can use phpMy Admin to visit the WordPress database and go to the wp_users table. The fields include user_login and user_password. I guess that this means I’m on the right track!

How do I change the values (reset them) and what do you mean “MD5” from the dropdown box? What dropdown box?
