Yes, that’s correct. My server was reporting that I had 5.6 installed, when in fact it was still at 5.3. The hosting has fixed this and now the plugin works perfectly. ??

Thanks for your reply, I do have the latest version as I installed the plugin last week.

I had to disable the POST EXCERPT filter as it was displaying the html and not the correct puntuation marks.

Am I the only one having problems with html in exerpts?

Oh I see…I was receiving alerts by email which display an image, I assumed it would be the same with the rss feed.

I don’t have these plugins, but this also happened to me after the latest update. Just spinning forever.

Actually it was happening before the previous update, then started working again, but now it has stopped.

I’ve tried deactivating/reauthorizing jetpack and then deactivating all the plugins one by one, no solution.

I’d love to find out too, as this isn’t in the sparsely-written documentation. I hope it’s not a trick, as I’m tired of wasting my time trying to figure why even simple things aren’t working.
