Hi Rene…. it appears that it may not be a WP Staging issue – trying to update the active theme threw up a similar message – basically it cannot create the directory required for the update…. so it must be something else.

I’ve literally just started to dig in to this site which has not been worked on for 2 or 3 years – the php is out of date at 7.3.3 there are 30 updates and I can’t make any ??

This is going to be fun

Any idea where I should start to look for the cannot create directory error?

Hi – That seems to be working fine… except… for some reason the form submission is not being sent by email.
The site is sending emails – because we get order info from Woo – so it shouldn’t be the site… am I missing something?

BTW – am loving both Hustle and Forminator – really easy to use and set up.

I should also mention that I. used a shortcode since even with the classic editor activated I did not have the add gravity form button available in the form body editor

Hmmmm – initially couldn’t simply install 4.18.1 because “folder already exists… so deleted 4.19.2 and installed 4.18.1 – same fatal error when trying to activate.

Updated through WP but same error…. this is frustrating….

OK – I found 4.18 online

Struggling to find an older version – where would I download that?

Apart from the SPIO folder in the plug ins folder – is there anything else I need to trash to completely remove so I can fresh install?

I trashed the plug in folder I had and added it again – the version I have is 4.19.2

Ha ha ha the belt and braces approach! Let’s cover ALL the bases and see what happens – I have implemented all your recommendations and on the 8th once the latest cooldown period is over I will resubmit for review – I really appreciate your help with this and am left wondering why five different Google reps couldn’t do in six weeks what you did in a morning…. actually, I’ve had a lot of dealings with Google and whilst I might wonder, I am not surprised ??
