I’m not very happy with this solution, mostly because these add-on editors tend to screw with WP’s image-uploading tool, which I’ve trained the site’s users to use, and works really well…

Theme Preview not showing up in my plugins – and I’ve installed millions of these things so it’s NOT in the wrong place.

Is Theme Preview compatible with WP2?

That unfortunately is not a solution to my problem. It’s not a matter of changing the settings – the buttons are not appearing when they should, and other people are experiencing the same problem.

I have same problem – no icons in the ‘rich’ text editor, just the visual/code buttons – when I switch to code, the window disappears and I can’t switch back. Upgraded from 2.1.3 to 2.2, still not working. Same in IE6 and Firefox 2.

This is clearly a major issue.

It’s NOT a firefox problem – I get the same in IE. Just upgraded to 2.2 from 2.1.3 to see if this would fix it, but it hasn’t.

This is a massive issue, and it seems a lot of people are experiencing it. What’s going on?

I’ve just upgraded to 2.2 and the text editor is still not working properly. This is a major issue across a number of installations – is there any official word on this?

I’ve followed all rrajakumar, yper and usonian’s instructions, but I’m still getting the

error. If bcreighton or anyone else can help, I’d be most grateful.

Unfortunately, this is just design work I’m doing for someone else – they’re not my host, so can’t change. Can anyone tell me why the WP rewrite rules cut access to this directory?
