I found out that the “posts page” will use the default header image set in the admin menu under “Appearance –> Header”. Hope this helps others as well ??

I have the same error when having a “front page” and a “posts page”. The header image set on the “front page” is also displayed on the “posts page” even though another has been set in the backend for the “posts page”. Any solution to this problem?

That may or may not do the trick, but a code-based solution is first priority. But thanks for the input ??
