Hi @dyin,
Please check this errata https://wpml.org/errata/wp-6-0-issues-with-terms-assigned-to-posts/, maybe it can help solving your issue.
If the issue persists, could you please open a ticket on the WPML forum and share either a staging site or a Duplicator package so we can investigate in depth?
Then, please share the link here!
Thanks,
Pierre- This reply was modified 2 years, 10 months ago by Pierre Sylvestre.
Hi @vendidero,
Thanks for the report!
It seems that the method has been missing for a while (not only in the latest version) and our numerous tests did not catch it.
Of course we will fix it ASAP, but would you have some real test steps in order to reproduce the issue? Maybe you are using a specific 3rd party plugin?
Thanks,
Pierre- This reply was modified 2 years, 10 months ago by Pierre Sylvestre.
Hi @gfrino,
We are sorry to hear you didn’t have the experience you expected with WPML.
Did you requested some help on our chat or forum? If yes, I would really like to take a deeper look. Could you please share the links?
Thanks,
PierreHi @stevendigital,
Usually these strings are translated with MO files provided by the plugin author or the community. But it happens that some strings remain untranslated depending on the target language.
Please go to WPML > String Translations and search for the string “Product” or maybe “Product %s” (it probably has a placeholder).
If you can’t find it in order to modify it, you will have to import the translation, please check this documentation.
Thanks,
PierreHi @madleine,
Yes, WooCommerce Multilingual 4.12.6 is compatible with the latest WordPress version (currently WP 5.9.1). You can check this information in the right sidebar on https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-multilingual/.
>or up to 5.8 as it is written on the plugin info?
Where did you find this information?
Thanks,
PierreHi @alex19977,
YITH WooCommerce AJAX Product Filter addon is listed as compatible => https://wpml.org/plugin/yith-woocommerce-ajax-product-filter/
You can also find other compatible addons on https://wpml.org/plugin/.
Thanks,
PierreHi @itapress,
WCML 4.12.6 is just a patch version. The string domain will be fixed in WCML 5.0.0 (see https://git.onthegosystems.com/glue-plugins/wpml/woocommerce-multilingual/-/blob/develop/classes/wcml-setup/class-wcml-setup.php#L207).
Thanks,
PierreHi @itapress,
Thanks for the report!
I believe this is an old string, and at that time we wanted to reuse a string from WooCommerce.
We’ll fix that, thanks again.
Pierre
Thanks for your contribution @webdados!
WooCommerce eventually decided to revert the deprecation message for
is_ajax
.This issue was fixed on WooCommerce Multilingual 4.12.4 but if you have this problem from another WC addon, you should be safe to update to WC 6.1.1 (see announcement).

Hi everyone!
This issue has been fixed in WooCommerce Multilingual 4.12.4 which has been released before WooCommerce 6.1.
However, this “deprecation” notice is not specific to WooCommerce Multilingual. It can be triggered by any 3rd party WooCommerce addon.
If you come across this issue, please try to deactivate your WC addons one by one to detect which one is actually causing this “deprecated” notice. Then you need to contact the addon’s author to get it fixed.
If you still have this problem after updating WooCommerce Multilingual v4.12.4, please open a ticket on wpml’s forum and we’ll provide a custom support.
Thanks,
PierreHi @jchrislemmer,
Your problem does not seem to be related to WooCommerce Multilingual, and this support forum is dedicated to WooCommerce Multilingual.
I invite you to open a ticket or chat on the wpml.org support forum.
Thanks,

Even if it happens with WPML Translation Management, this is not expected.
I recommend to open a support ticket on wpml.org.
Thanks,
