Turned out to be lack of memory according to error log. Increased from 64 to 128 and tried again this afternoon (UK time) with 6.1.10, this has resolved it.

Cleary 6.1.09 was using some memory on install?

Anyway sorted not thanks.

Is there any response to the question above please, what is the cost of having it customised?

Everyone of them performs a specific function.

I don’t have a default theme.

As far as I’m aware all plugins are up-to date, if your aware of any specific that aren’t compatible please IDENTIFY them.

I am not a developer, I’m an end user, reverting my website back to factory settings is going to be a non-starter for me apart from not having enough hours in the day as it is to run the business without also doing software developers jobs for them.

Clearly all this was working until the 3.9 and the latest version of NextGen so the issue lies there. So if your not prepared to find out what’s wrong in your product, how do I revert NextGen back to an earlier version?

It’s that or a complete switch to Social Gallery.

100% checked and re-checked user permissions and tested 2-3 login that have the correct permissions.

De-activated any security plugin, deleted cache, refreshed page, none of these have made any difference.

Even rolled back the server to a couple of days ago so the gallery has now lost 2 galleries I had uploaded before this happened. 2 more unhappy clients.

Yep – does look like that on the page. – Took it as read the php wrap was there.

I’ve got round my initial obstacle with a bit of extra CSS formatting but this doesn’t resolve the issue long term.
