In reply to: removing fancybox.js causes js menu crashJust a quick note to let you know that I have resolved the problem. I moved the menu script on top of the enqueue list and it now works with or without fancybox.
If anyone knows why, I’d still be happy to know…

In reply to: questions about permalink structure and upload folderI have done a fresh install of my WP Mu Network. The /blog/ slug now appears in my settings for all websites of the network.
Oh and I just found out that the /blog/ part only shows up for the Post type. I am only using Pages and Custom Post Types based on Pages so I don’t even need to remove it.
Thanks again for your reply Ipstenu.

In reply to: shared media library, stuff not working since moving to MUHey! Thank you for your reply.
I tried the Network Shared Media plugin yesterday and it works great I must say. However it only works for inserting medias in posts & pages, but you cannot use it to set a featured image.
Nonetheless, this plugin can be very useful.

In reply to: thumbnail size settings not taken into accountit simply depends on the size of the uploaded picture and on the other settings such as the “keep proportions” option.
Medium size will be available only if the media exceeds 460px in length and so on.Forum: Everything else WordPress
In reply to: Question about a script and Jquery in generalThank you so much for your fast reply.
I had seen this page before but hadn’t paid enough attention. Now I understand the role of the jquery function wrapper!
As regards the wp_enqueue_script technique, I am up to date.
Thanks again for the advice, I’m marking this post as “resolved”. ??Forum: Everything else WordPress
In reply to: Free email marketing siteThank you I will check this out. MailChimp is great but it has indeed a lot of features. However MailChimp doesn’t show any adverts (except its own logo in free mode) if I remember well.
Unfortunately I cannot post a link. I am working exclusively on a local server for the moment.
All I can tell you is that a gap appears under the meteor slideshow in IE. Try and add borders to your homepage’s slideshow in IE9 and you should see the gap too (I see it here !).
Anyway it is minor issue and I should be able to simulate the borders effect around the slideshow…
Thanks again for your help, I should be able to manage from here ??
I thought the gap was gone but it still appears on IE.
Sorry for the triple post…
I just wanted to let you know that the bottom gap is visible on your website too Josh, with Internet Explorer.
It appears during the nav buttons’ active state and even more clearly when I add borders to your slideshow with Firebug.
For the moment, I will fill the gap with the same color as the bottom border so as to hide it.
I have tested the original slideshow on a blank index page without any of my stylesheets and here is what I see in IE9:

It seems the gap was there from the beginning. Am I the only one to have this problem?
Thank you for the explanations. EDIT: I just noticed that there is a 4px gap between the slides and the bottom border in IE (with or without left container).
I’ll try and go back to the original slideshow template and/or add the borders directly to the meteor stylesheet if possible.
First problem fixed, thank you! I don’t really understand why defining the line-height allows the line breaks though, but I am no CSS expert.
Anyway, the only problem that remains is the gap under the slide in Internet Explorer…
What should I be targetting precisely when defining the slideshow’s line-height? Everything I tried doesn’t work and there seems to be no conflict with my stylesheet.
I am working with wamp server so I cannot send a link :/ Would sending my stylesheets be useful to you?
Thanks again for your precious help.
Thank you for the fast reply, I will look into it before posting a link. Thanks for your help!
