    Hi,

Yes, it is absolutely possible to display the number of visits for each page or post individually on the front-end of your website.

On the official plugin page, you’ll find two video tutorials that explain how to use the plugin in detail.
The second video specifically demonstrates how to display the number of visits on the front-end for each page, post, or product.

( Link to the official plugin page: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/page-visits-counter-lite )

Additionally, the plugin allows you to edit the visit count directly from the admin dashboard, giving you full control over the numbers displayed.

I highly recommend watching both video tutorials to fully understand the plugin’s features and learn how to make the most out of it.

If you have any further questions or run into any issues, feel free to reach out!

    Best regards,

    Denis Botic

    Hi,

    Thank you for reaching out!

I’ve just tested the functionality, and it seems to be working correctly on my end.

A few things you could try:

    1. Have you attempted to delete the page and recreate it to see if that resolves the issue?
    2. Does the page title contain any special characters? Sometimes these can cause unexpected behavior.
    3. It’s also possible that something went wrong during the plugin update. I recommend deactivating and deleting the plugin and then reinstalling it to see if that helps.

Let me know if this resolves the issue!

    Best regards,

    Hi!

Thank you for reaching out and letting me know about the possible fix.
I’ve found the casue and succeed to replicate the issue. The cause of the issue is the selected language.
In different langugaue a different character is used for the apostrophe.

I am planning to fix it and release the update soon.

    Thank you for reaching out!

The issue you’re experiencing is likely due to some CSS styling conflicts that can be easily adjusted.
The best part is that instead of using a shortcode, you’re placing raw HTML/CSS code, which means you can fully customize it to suit your needs.

You can either hire a CSS expert on platforms like Fiverr for as little as $5, or you can try fixing it yourself with the help of ChatGPT.

    Hi!

I am sorry but I don’t understand what your request has to do with my free plugin:?Page Visits Counter – Lite?

I don’t have any premium (payed) option that you could use.

    Hi!
Thank you for your feedback and I’m glad you’re enjoying the plugin!

To reset the counter and start the counting over, you can follow these steps:

    1. Go to your WordPress admin dashboard.
    2. Look for the “ALL PAGE VISITS” widget.
    3. In this widget, locate the circular rotate back icon next to the title “VISIT BY PAGE-NAME”.
    4. Click on this icon, which serves as a button to access reset options.

From there, you’ll be able to reset all counters or choose specific sections to reset.

If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out. Thank you!

    Hi!

I’ve just checked and there is no such option.
Also, there is no quick solution to this.

    Thanks!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on my plugin.
    I appreciate your honest feedback.

My plugin was initially developed to fulfill my personal need, aiming for simplicity and minimal impact on website performance. I understand that compared to other more feature-rich plugins, mine may feel lacking in certain aspects.

Thank you for using my plugin and for your understanding.

    Hi,

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I appreciate your efforts in testing and providing additional details. It seems that the issue might be related to the user’s login status.

I have replicated your test scenario by publishing a new post with the title “Freshers’ Day 23 – Bollywood Eve,” and the counter is functioning as expected on my end, displaying the correct number of visits.

Based on your observation, it appears that the counter shows “N/A” only when the user is logged in and visiting the post.

In an incognito browser window (when logged out), the counter works properly, displaying the correct number of visits.

This suggests that the issue may be specific to the user’s login status.

    Hello Maysie,

Thank you for your kind words and for using my counter on two sites! I appreciate your support.

Regarding your question, currently, the counter starts from the date of installation and doesn’t have an option to work from the original publication date.

Thank you again for using my plugin!

    Best regards,

I’m extremely sorry to hear about the troubles you encountered with my plugin. I want to offer my sincerest apologies for the disruption and frustration this situation has caused you.

I fully understand the seriousness of the issue you described – a plugin should enhance your website, not disrupt it. I take this feedback seriously, and I want you to know that I’ve actively investigated what could have caused such a critical problem during installation.

Your workaround to disable the plugin by renaming the folder is appreciated, and I’m glad you were able to regain access to your admin panel. However, this is not how the experience should have been for you.

In order to prevent such occurrences in the future, I’m committed to identifying the root cause and implementing necessary changes. If you’re willing, I would greatly appreciate any additional information you can provide about your setup, including the versions of WordPress and any other plugins you were using.

    Best regards,

    Denis Botic

I’ve tested the PHP version 8.0 and it is not casue of the problem.
Aside of that, please make sure that you use the latest version of my plugin.

I’ve just tested it on several different PHP versions and I cannot recreate the issue.

Can you please tell me what is your WordPress version and PHP version?

    Please try to:
    – Switch the WP theme and check for errors.
    – Disable all other plugins and check for errors.
    – Uninstall my plugin and install it again.

After you do all of that, we can continue this conversation.
You need to help me recreate the issue so I can fix it.
At the moment I cannot recreate it. Everything is working fine on my side.
If you have any errors in debug.log please make a screenshot and contact me through strongetic web development professional website.

    Dear AllyAlly,

Thank you for your kind words and support! I’m glad to hear that you find my plugin fabulous and effective. I appreciate your feedback and the time you’ve taken to provide it.

Now, let me address your questions regarding the listing sort order:

    1. The default listing order in the Admin dashboard is based on the chronological order in which pages receive their first visit. This means that the pages that have recently started receiving visits will appear first in the list.

    2. Currently, the plugin does not offer a specific sorting option to display pages based on the highest number of visits. The available sorting options are limited to A-Z and Z-A.

I understand that sorting by the highest number of visits would be a valuable feature, and I appreciate your suggestion. I constantly strive to enhance my plugin, and your feedback helps me prioritize future improvements.

If you have any further questions or need assistance with any other aspect of the plugin, please don’t hesitate to let me know. I’m here to help!

Thank you once again for your support and valuable feedback.

    Warm regards,

    Denis Boti?

    Hi there!
    I appreciate your patience.

I have thoroughly tested the issue on my test site.
I published the page named “08 – L’échéance se rapproche“ and I’m glad to inform you that everything is working fine.

I have checked the Console, and it shows that both the JavaScript and PHP statuses are “OK.”

    – JS status = OK
    – PHP status = OK

These statuses remain unaffected whether I am logged in or logged out.

Additionally, I have examined the debug.log file, and there are no errors or warnings present.

Have you checked your debug.log file for any errors related to the issue?

When troubleshooting WordPress issues, it is generally recommended to follow these steps:

    1. Check the WordPress theme
Switch to a different (default) WordPress theme and check for any
bugs or issues. If a bug or issue is not present when another theme
is active, it means that the bug or issue is with the WordPress theme.

    (Check the console and debug.log)

    2. Check plugins
Disable all plugins and then enable only the plugin that seems to be causing the problem. Check for any bugs or issues with this specific plugin enabled.

    (Check the console and debug.log)

If there are no bugs or issues when only my plugin is enabled, try enabling the other plugins one by one. Every time check for the issue.

    (Check the console and debug.log)

This will help identify if any of the other plugins are causing the problem.

    ====

I hope this explanation clarifies the steps I have taken to investigate the reported issue and provides you with valuable insights on how to proceed with debugging the problem.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with.
