I suggest to make a copy of the original file before uploading this one in case something goes terribly wrong.

The file needs to be uploaded into …/wp-content/themes/Avada/Includes/

The problem was with Woocommerce Paypal Payments plugin.

Something really strange is going on here and I would appreciate any type of help or ideas.

So I have created a cloned staging site ( exactly the same ) as the live site. The problem is that the problem is not happening here.

I am completely buffled and clueless of how to find and resolve this problem.

As I explained above, even though it looks like a plugin issue, try contacting your theme provider.

AVADA resolved this issue quickly for me by updating one of their theme woocommerce template files.

I have the AVADA theme on my woocommerce store.

After debugging this with the theme provider, they found that one of their theme files needed to be fixed according to the latest woocommerce updates, which they have sent me as a temporary fix until they implement this fix in their next theme update.

The file that needed to be changed is in the theme > Includes folder and for the avada theme this was the file class-avada-woocommerce.php.

You can contact your theme provider to provide you with a temporary fix if you want.

Just wanted to share this,

I deleted the line of code on line 40 from the said file, in ( PLUGINS>WOOCOMMERCE>TEMPLATES>LOOP>add-to-card.php ) which is the one that is throwing the errors and the errors stopped. The site is working without any issues.

I updated to 9.01 with the avada theme and the error still occurs.

I changed to the default 2024 theme and the errors stopped.

Now, I know you will tell me to contact the theme provider, but this error occured only after the latest woocommerce update without changing or updating the AVADA theme. It was OK before.

I did all that with no result.

The error is in the last line of the add-to-cart.php file:

This appeared immediately after updating to version 9.0.0

To clarify, one can only see this error if you check the error file in the cPanel File Manager in the root directory. There are errors every 1 minute.

I deleted this line from the code and the errors stopped. I checked the store and it looks like everything is working properly and the add to cart button is also working.

Nevertheless, I believe this should be resolved.

Now I have noticed that when I change the filter type from List to Label or Dropdown it works fine.
It seems that the LIST type is the only type that is not working. Unfortunately this is the desired type that I want to use.

One more thing to clarify is that my filter list is not empty and all the filters I mentioned above should appear.

I hope these two comments save us some time to resolve this issue.

I am using the porto theme. Again, all was ok just before the last update.

I emailed them to let them know of this issue and they promised that they will get back to me this coming week.
