I have installed the suggested plugin and run the clean but the product import didn’t work for me.

I notice the premium version has a feature called clean ‘Detect orphan tables’, do you think I need the premium version to get the job done?

I wasn’t able to run your script succesfully, I got the following error:

#1064 – You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ”wp_postmeta’ WHERE ‘_sku’ = ‘4501’ LIMIT 0, 30′ at line 1

So I continued with cleaning the database clean idea.

I ran ‘optimize tables’ within PHPMyAdmin, attempted product import but got the same error.

I downloaded WP-Optimizer and optimized everything, but got the same ‘SKU already exists’ error when I ran the importer.

Don’t sure what to try next

i’m currently using these settings:

Posts Selector div.page-wrap
Post Selector .product
Navigation Selector nav.woocommerce-pagination
Next Selector a.next.page-numbers

I get the loading icon but then it dissappears along and no more products are loaded.

Can anyone help please ?

Thanks Kenin, the linked guide only mentioned variations in the opening paragraph. Are there any guides on using the stock importer to bring in variations? Don’t really want to do it blind

In the absence of advice on how to fix the site I’m winging it somewhat but I think have found a solution.

I noticed that line 10 in the function.php appears to be requesting the logos.gif file. So I delete the logos.gif and logos2.gif files and replaced the functions.php file with one from an earlier backup that didn’t include the line 10 logos.gif request.

The results have passed the wordpress scan.

thanks for your reply, i did notice that however as the files appear to be new and are not valid gifs (don’t open) I’m concerned that they are malicious.

Turning off the aggressive scan will stop the file being scanned but I feel that would be ignoring the issue somewhat.

Is there any reason, yet unexplained, you feel I shouldn’t be concerned?

thanks for my requirements that is a big improvement.

TYPO Corrected version

I’m making a box packaging site, with different size and color variations, but not every color is available in every size.

When a large box size (kentucky) is select only two variations on color are available. The problem is that is not very clear, to the average joe customer, where the colors choices they had send previously went to and why.

I think greying out rather than removing the option from the drop down menus would be better, is that possible? I’m also open to other ideas and advice on the best way around this confusing issue. The goal is to make everything as clear and easy as possible for the first time shopper.

It might be best if you look at what I’ve made and see what I mean.
