The hosting just told me there’s an error in the table wp_sfmembers, is it yours?

I’ve checked and all this started when the hosting updated the mysql version from 5.7 to 8

I’ve created a new administrator in sql but I still don’t see the links in the bar so I can access the admin

Sadly this isn’t the case, both wp-config and the database are in lower case

It looks like it’s working again, weird..

The copy was called wordpress-seo_bak

Once deleted, the admin didn’t ask me to update the plugin anymore

I renamed the old one and uploaded the new one. Is wordpress unable to delete the old one because of the permissions or does it check the last updated version somewhere? (maybe it’s stored in the DB, I don’t know)

I did it and it worked but somehow the admin keeps telling me to update the plugin. If I try to do it again, it says it couldn’t delete the old version

Will it work if I upload the plugin by FTP? Does anyone know?

Thanks for the quick response.

But, when I changed the placeholder text in the customization I lost the style changes. I mean they still are in the settings as you told me but it doesn’t look like before I used the customizer

I upgraded the php to 7.3.11 and this afternoon I had a plugin to update… and it worked!

I see in my WordPress System Health widget that the Memory Limit is 128 MB already. I’ll try to tell them to upgrade the PHP version anyway
