All right I got it, if anyone has the same problem (those tooltips can really make it hard to see what’s written below, especially in drop-down menus), this great plugin did the trick:

I did some research and what I’m talking about is called link label, or anchor text. Anyone knows how to get rid of it on the tiles?

Never mind I got help by email from their support and it got fixed! The WP super cache needs to be flushed, if someone has the same problem.

Hi again, I have one last question if I may, the codes you gave me work great, however they don’t take into account the text within the widget itself, just the title. (if you go to ablogforkids.com, you’ll see I changed the fonts of everything in the sidebar but not the names Millard, Theodore etc.) Would you happen to know the code I need for a new font control to change those? I have no clue how to figure that out.

Hi, yes the website is https://www.ablogforkids.com. We haven’t officially opened it yet, there are plenty of things we need to improve and fix before we do so. My partner and I are somewhat familiar with the css selectors, we can figure things out if you have some guidance. To be more precise about the problem, if I changed the font of “heading 1” only, it didn’t save it, but it did save it if I also changed the font of “paragraph”, even though I chose a different font for both. So in the end I made it work, but it’s weird how I had to change 2 things to make 1 thing work.
