In reply to: [File Manager] FAO of plugin authorsI’m the only user and administrator of both sites, which are entirely separate from each other. I have 8 years experience of building sites with WordPress and this has never happened before
Found the answer – on settings of the ‘next’ button

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Plugin removedI’ve removed it from my sites. The lack of communication was too concerning

In reply to: [Page scroll to id] using #post-id when scrolling from a different pageI think it’s purpose is for css selection really.

In reply to: [Page scroll to id] using #post-id when scrolling from a different pageYes, I was looking for a more human readable hash.
I am able to put a custom id on a block myself but I haven’t been able to get that to work with this plugin. Is there a particular way to do this?
You may be right Phil – I have just checked and it only happens in Chrome so hopefully I’ll be able to manage the settings in IE instead.
(Yes correct, it only happens on the Settings screen. The development site is via a web host, it also happens on two other live sites)
Thanks, at least that gives me a framework to work through. In future I will exclude cache files from the scan
Thanks Frank. I wonder what most people do about caching files? It seems this feature is not very useful if people are just going to ignore the files (speaking as someone who had a site hacked a while ago – they got in via a file but can’t remember now which one)
resloved
Thanks for your help and for this plugin, some nice features.
A way to quickly check the files would be a great feature.
The scan feature is certainly working!
Sorry for my lack of knowledge, I am trying to learn….
Do you think the thousand or so file changes are related to the migration? I can’t believe that many files would be changed on a normal basis. How on earth can I check that many?
Also I have searched, but not found, how to check the files (Wordfence has a button to check the files). How do I find changed files without using ftp (longwinded)?
