Problems with update 4.9.7

  • After the last update 4.9.7, several major issues appeared:
    – the articles do not appear on the index page
    – sub-pages in the main menu can no longer be accessed, link missing
    – all labels appear at the top of the articles pages
    – footer has changed

  • Romik, where is the setting to customize the slider text and text box colors…?? It was there before, but I don’t see a setting for it anymore. Thank you dear…

    As before under the slider options in the General section ??

    I saw that, but weren’t there color settings in there before? I don’t see anything in my CSS …I can’t shake the background color…it’s inline css…not on a stylesheet. All it has in that setting is to edit the text, not style it.

    i did get the contact page…just removed the file from the child theme, that was easy enough…except my full-width map won’t show up on it, but the page is there now.

    If you mean for the Bootstrap slider, yes, the boxed background colors are still there

    paralax… and I got rid of them somehow before because they aren’t on the pre-update version of the site. But I can’t find a way to shake them now…

    I don’t even know which one I’m using…they are BOTH enabled, ugh…

    and I don’t know why the images are so big now either…I need help babe…

    Oh, that WAS the freaking problem…turned off the bootstrap one, and that’s good now…sort of. Better anyway. I just need to shrink the images a little bit

    ALMOST there Romik…good enough I can stick with it. I can leave it up like this at least, and finish it tomorrow. The only glitches now most people but me won’t notice…it’s at least presentable. Thank you so much…you are THE MAN!! I’m so glad you made the jump out of that damn Redux framework piece of _ _ _ _ … haha. You did it. Good for you.

    You “should” add the ability to style the sliders more though…font and color changes? (all the way around, not just in 1 place) Add that to the next update, ok?

    Font and color changes are available in every slider General Section, if you meant Typography ??

    You can change the font color, and that’s all…not the background color, (I guess one could add an ID or a CLASS and do it on the stylesheet, but it’s not on the customizer) …there are some options to change the font, but they didn’t seem to be working. But I closed everything down, and I didn’t try it after removing the double-slider features enabled thing…but I’ll look again tomorrow. Just seems like there should be a little bit more. But over-all, good job. ??

    Background color of the text can be changed for Bootstrap Slider only, same in the previous version ??

    First I wanna thank you for your time and reply.
    @romik84 before this theme I’ve never made any changes on child theme, just updated the parent without touching the child, my question is that, is this theme different, and if the answer is yes, why not mention?
    Personally I like this theme because its customization, means that I don’t need to write so much codes on custom css. Some themes before I had to change a lot to get a good design out of it.

    Now you mean I need to change name of main stylesheet?
    This one also never happened before!
