We are hoping that they can be convinced to go with an “opt in” approach. If not, they are talking about releasing a plugin similar to this one.

We prefer @petervandoorn ‘s approach. This makes it less likely that it will gum up existing sites & themes.

I agree that default behaviour should be “do no harm” as you suggest, but many plugins have an option that can be selected for a complete removal. I would like to see that considered for a future update.

AND – thanks for years of great support for both versions.

Would have been nice to warn people that a simple update of the theme might break their site.

The removal of rows & columns is major for anyone who used those classes.

John (@johnbillion) – has NOW been added back in yet? We too are interested in this. I did check the changelog on GitHub, but could not find a reference.

@iowaprogressives – your problem is different that @hobble’s .

If you think the plugin itself is not working, you need to start your own thread and include more details about the error with the plugin.

They created a reference number for this issue. It is FB1078 .

It is a an error in design. It is bad practice to use mixed case database table names.
