When we try to save options in the sugarsync tab we get the redirect error on this url https://xxxxxx.xxx/wp-admin/admin-post.php?action=backwpup

A new install of 3.0.12 on a new website does not have this problem.

looks like some lingering damage from 3.0.11.

How to fix?

We deactivated & removed 3.0.11, cleared cookies, reinstalled 3.0.12 and are still getting a redirect error while trying to update settings.

We had the redirect problem with 3.0.11.

We deactivated & removed, then reinstalled.

Now we have a different redirect problem every time we try to save the sugarsync options.

When will BP 1.7 be supported by the plugin, without having to patch it ourselves?

Got multiple instances of each of the following:
Failed to import post tag
Failed to import
Menu item skipped due to invalid menu slug: short
Menu item skipped due to invalid menu slug: all-pages

1) This did not happen before 3.0 release
2) It is happening on very small backups 15mb-50mb
3) Only happens with zip, not TarGz
4) we have made no other changes, just upgraded your plugin

I agree with this suggestion. We do not wish to manually change
the code for every update

We are still getting this with BackWPup 3.06.

The files it fails on seem random – different ones each time.

Ironically, Qian Qin put in a change for the version check but it has not been pushed out to the plugin.

Is there a way to get it updated?

Can someone contact the author and maybe get permission to help him?

If not should it be forked?

activating Developer, then Reveal IDs gives following message

I wasted a lot of time today only to find out that the email address has been hardcoded in the update.

New:
$from = "[email protected]"; //$admin_email;

Old:
$from = $admin_email;

Hope we can get an official fix for this very soon. I hate patching plugins.

When will the plugin be updated to work with WP 3.5?

We are not interested in hacking the version check.

@mert – Great plugin except for the prefix problem. Unfortunately, this is a showstopper for us. We never use the standard prefix for security reasons.

Any idea when this will be fixed?
