Thanks Jack. Good news! I managed to replicate the issue while saving a setting in EDD Recurring so I will be looking into this further as soon as I can.

It’s possible, but I can’t say with certainty. The setting for the Gravatar size is stored within the wp_options row where the rest of the EDD settings are stored. The only way it could get wiped is if the entire options row was deleted, or otherwise modified to remove just that setting.

The next time it gets wiped, would you mind pasting what you see in that edd_settings option row? Actually, it would be useful to see it now if you can. I wonder if it’s somehow corrupt.

Do you have any other sites where this issue occurs? If you don’t mind reconfiguring your EDD settings, one plausible solution might be to delete that option row and reconfigure the EDD settings again to see if the issue comes back. Note, this will also wipe other settings for other EDD related plugins you may have installed.

I’ve had the gravatar size set on my local site for a very long time (probably since I built the plugin) and so far it’s been fine.

I’m not entirely sure why the setting would forget itself, it simply uses the extension settings API provided by Easy Digital Downloads.

1. Is it just this one field or do the other fields forget themselves also?
2. Do you have any other EDD extensions installed which have the same issue?
3. Are there any errors in your error logs?
4. Have you performed any database related tasks, or updated any plugin/theme within the period?

This isn’t possible out of the box but would be possible with some custom development.

The easiest/best way to diagnose this issue is to clear your browser cookies for your site. Or you can clear any cookies starting with “affwp_”. If the dropdown then shows for you at checkout, you’ll know that you clicked on an affiliate link which is why it is not showing for you. The link above shows you how to delete cookies for a specific domain.

If not, what changes did you make as you said above? Try temporarily disabling other plugins to see if it then shows. If so, you’ll know there’s a plugin conflict and I can better assist you. That will surely break functionality on your site so start there.

Try also getting a friend who has never visited your site to also check your checkout page.

AffiliateWP stores cookies to track the affiliate, so it’s functioning 100% as it should. When an affiliate is tracked by a customer, that affiliate should receive a commission on a purchase. The customer should not then be able to select another affiliate, or the original affiliate will lose the commission.

Since it sounds like you’re already tracking an affiliate in Chrome and you’d like to see the select field at checkout, you’ll need to clear your cookies related to AffiliateWP. Delete only the cookies for your site that start with affwp_ and test again.

PS it doesn’t show when you are tracking an affiliate, it sounds like you’re tracking an affiliate in Chrome ?? Clear your cookies and refresh.

Is it possible to show the comment text and also with or without the rating?

It’s not possible to show the actual comment text. It was something I considered but ultimately decided against since they are private comments given by customers and have not consented to having their comments shown publicly.

Also, is it possible to only show info for the entire team or certain team members?

It will only show the ratings for the entire team. It might be something that I could add in a future version.

Is it possible to show all time info OR only a certain date range of info, OR say the latest 30 days of info (any one of those or a combination)?

The date ranges are configured from the admin, sorry there’s only a brief mention in the description. Possible options are last month, this month, last 7 days, last 6 months, last 12 months.

I noticed you also opened a similar ticket on another add-on. Are there any errors or messages shown? I can’t think of a single reason why they aren’t activating for you unless you did not have AffiliateWP installed. Do you have AffiliateWP activated?
