This is what I saw instead:

and I change it to
<?php comments_template( ”, false ); ?>
In my child theme and it worked.

Posting of new comment works as well.

I did as you instructed but still the same!
Nevertheless, I have some plugins installed which might be the problem. I’ll work around the plugins and open new thread if need be.

I’ve deleted the page.php from the child.

Comments still show up on my static pages, as well as BP registration page.

I actually want comments to show up but should be restricted to the post commented on only.

I am using a child theme for mesocolumn for about a year now, I thought the parent can update the child, I updated the parent for the lastest update.

Well, I am using the pop-up login feature only, loves the way it shows me link to the ‘profile’ after login AND using my home page as register so that you don’t load extra page before you register.

I wish someone could help out

after plugin activation, go to the bible plugin settings, select the bible version, click install, check again and it’ll appear, cheers.

Having the same challenge here, I changed my existing site to Multisite which gave me sub-domain installation option. When create a site and visit, the site, it’s shows blank page.

What have we left undone. Please any experience persons should come to our aid

I alternatively use a plugin that offers avatar change, immediately after registration call “BuddyPress Signup Avatar” though some member still maintains the default avatar while some change theirs. plugin available here: https://buddydev.com/plugins/bp-signup-avatar/
