no one knows how to do this?

thank you! i turned off visual editor for my username and that seems to have solved the problem.

i need help with this same thing…i also do not have a category.php page but i do have archive.php…but it doesn’t have anything about sidebars in it. it appears to call the sidebar in page.php, but since i only want to suppress a specific category, what would the code be that i should put in there?

ok now i did something wrong. i fiddled with the CSS and it messed up the page. i clicked on reset but its not fixing it.

ok i’m giving up on finding what i want with user upload. i’ll upload the images myself. but i NEED to have comments on each and every photo since i’ll be using that for the voting.

can anyone help please? just a simple gallery that allows for comments for each photo? why oh why am i having some a dickens of a time finding something like this? the only things i’m finding either don’t work or are too complicated for me to figure out!!

very frustrated over here and i had wanted to launch this contest today, but i’ve spent the entire weekend (at least many hours of it), just trying to figure out a gallery that would work for this. i thought for sure this was something that would be easy to find!

ok very strange…now the images are no longer squashed. it seemed to be only an issue in explorer when i just had the one test image uploaded. so nevermind on the 2nd issue…but i still would like to know how to get rid of the gallery voting option. thanks!

thank you. i did what the instructions on that webpage suggested and now my theme appears broken. it seems to be fine when i put the default theme on, but when i put the theme that i WANT, it is all messed up: https://www.fresnofamily.com

any suggestions? i don’t know a think about this sort of thing, but i’m usually pretty good at following well worded instructions. ??

i figure there must be something somewhere that i need to tweak to reflect the new location of wordpress but i haven’t a clue where to look.

nope, i don’t have it set to that page as a landing page. its just a random page that i deleted.
